I think this is becoming a bit more than just far right rioting. I’ve seen some of the clips in Liverpool and the scale of them is pretty large. Hundreds and hundreds of teenage kids were involved from the local area.

It feels like it’s ready to kick of massively in the uk at the moment

Everyone will need to be a little more careful regarding their movements and what areas they go to.

My son predicted this a couple of years ago…only with left wing protests.

Clearly disaffection is wider than some of us thought and much of the rioting looks like knee-jerk reaction to long standing generic issues. The government put out days ago that the suspect isn’t Muslim but that hasn’t made a scrap of difference. In fact things have got worse.

I’m old enough and ugly enough to expect the politicians’ response will be to put out the immediate fires, then carry on regardless.

I found that a really difficult watch (granted I didn't watch the whole thing).

I don't understand the motivation

And I don't understand why they are so angry towards non white folk

Most of Twitter and Facebook users are in their 30s, and those two platforms present by far the biggest problem.

It’s not a young people’s thing at all.

Very true, most young kids I come into contact hate this type of behaviour.

It starts with the 70s and 80s generation, not all but there is a issue started under Thatcher when unemployment reached record levels and they lived off the state.

They have continued to do so, moan about people from around the world the come to this country to work hard and start a new life, yet they themselves are lazy, ignorant bastards that won't.

I said the other day, go into any hospital, care home and see the makeup of the staff, I would wager in a majority of areas they are non UK, yet the bigots and racists take the piss out of them, what utter scum bags.

Was thinking just the same watching the shameful protest in Manchester yesterday.

We are on the brink of something very bad here, it's tragic to see.

What a horrible, uncaring nation we have become.

The only hope is seeing generally good people rebuilding the broken streets of Southport, rebuilding the damaged mosque after the scumbags had rioted, those are the people that make/made the UK a great nation.

They and the rest of the decent people need to stand up and not allow these idiots.

The decent people in this country, the vast majority i may add, need to stand up to these cunts.
We all need to do whatever we can to stop these fuckers, it'll be the small good deeds that repair our communities but it'll take time.
Don't be like them, raise your children to be understanding & maybe, just maybe, the next generation will help make it better
