There are a lot of bots on twitter nowadays, maybe more so than real people. Its a bit of a dig at the aspects of twitter that are still "real", there is also a lot of sex related advertisement and pages that randomly follow people possibly as a means to get attention/clicks.

Bearing in mind he was DPP for the riots a decade ago, I expect he learnt a few lessons which he's put into action this time, particularly around the need for quick sentencing. For all the whataboutery about the Manchester Airport incident (and those guys should absolutely get the book thrown at them as well in due course), the big picture was to quell the riots and that's what they've done. Imagine the Tory government still being in place and Braverman etc egging the rioters on - that would have made the police's job untenable. He's also been strong and resisted the right wing calls to recall parliament and so not given Farage the opportunity to grandstand in the HoC which would only have fanned the flames further.

Starmer has dealt with the situation well, serious jail time for these racist thugs and they disappear quickly, long may it continue.

Just get "Mr Robinson" put away for a long time as well as "Mr Farage", our country will be a happier place.
