Child abusers and people who have committed knife crime will still be imprisoned. It isnt a question of one over another. And nobody has been jailed for being a keyboard warrior unless it incited racial hatred, or they acted upon it. And those crimes saw guilty pleas, as you well knowThey don't have to be released. It's a political choice.
But unfortunately, large parts of our state would rather lock up keyboard warriors than child abusers, knife criminals, and even killers.

J.S.O.3 years seems excessive given the strain on the prison service at the moment and the fact we are letting prisoners out for crimes I’d wager most sensible people would seem far more serious that gyrating in front of police officers and even racially abusing someone which is abhorrent, worthy of a sentence no doubt but a starting point of 3 years?
Sorry no. There may be other crimes not listed in that article of course and I hope there is to justify a sentence like that.
