UK Terrorism Level Raised to Severe

I’d take that as a certainty of something happening then. My husband stays in central London a lot due to work and I always worry

I wouldn’t.
they’ve raised it simply because of the attacks in Paris and Vienna.
there is no intel of anything planned for the UK.

Not to say we shouldn’t be vigilant and there could be. But that threats always been there since 9/11

Correct. I cannot imagine that in any point in my lifetime the threat level wil be reduced to 'close to zero'. It will always be relatively high

yep. Terrorism I doubt will ever go away.
but to be honest, I’ve worked central London all my life and have never felt scared

Also worth pointing out that throughout 2014-19 it was at either “severe” or “critical” level.

The JTAC system has never been "moderate" in its entire existence.

If your subjective scale has two measurements which have never been used in the history of that measurement then that is a bad scale.

Are you privy to the intel?

Stay vigilant and keep your wits about you.If you see a situation,or something that concerns you, report it.

Nothing has changed in that regard.
