Ultimate Beatles album

1. If I Fell
2. Please Please Me
3. Things We Said Today
4. And Your Bird Can Sing
5. Got To Get You Into My Life
6. Taxman
7. Revolution
8. Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight
9. Tomorrow Never Knows
10. Dear Prudence
11. Day in the Life
12. Helter Skelter
13. The Long and Winding Road

Well, that's my thinking today...if you asked me tomorrow it'd be a completely different playlist.

Now that's the beauty of The Beatles.

1. Yesterday
2. Twist & Shout
3. Rocky Raccoon
4. Norwegian Wood
5. Strawberry Fields Forever
6. Helter Skelter
7. Let It Be
8. Hey Jude
9. Get Back
10. Tomorrow Never Knows
11. Yellow Submarine
12. Taxman
13. Lucy In The Sky
14. A Day In The Life

I'd have Golden Slumbers off the Abbey Road medley too, but it doesn't really count.

Rule Number 1 - You start fucking about with the Abbey Road Medley and you're banned. Seriously, try to move 1 tune from that sequence and I will sort out for a lynch mob to beat you to death. You do not touch that medley. Ever.

Peace and love.

I better go back and edit my list!

If I have to die protecting the integrity of the medley then so be it :)

Where do you consider it to start? I ask because sun king get's in the way for me! (runs and hides just in case)

That's a good question. I know exactly what you mean, I see Sun King, as much as I like it when I'm in the mood, to be a short interlude between the 'songs' on Abbey Rd and the medley. Having said that, I've only ever known The Beatles post the CD so I never had the luxury of A & B sides.

Still, when Carry That Weight reverts back to You Never Give Me Your Money I feel a twitch in my pants and my eyes start to water.

1) Norwegian wood
2) Yesterday
3) We can work it out
4) Eleanor Rigby
5) With a little help from my friends
6) Lucy in the sky with diamonds
7) Getting better
8) She's leaving home
9) A day in the life
10) The fool on the hill
11) I am the walrus
12) Strawberry fields forever
13) Come together
14) Let it be

Sorry mate but as OP I overule you in this instance, the medley songs are listed as individual songs on the album sleeve and therefore can be included in the new album, after all you can have 'the medley' down as a track can you ? the playing time would be too great for vinyl :)
I put 'You never give me your money' down on my ultimate album, and anyway Golden Slumbers is not segued..
I know what you mean though..

Love & Peace.
