when does our deal expire?

It's just Nike's way of having both us and Man U under the same corp, they can't make us wear Nike as Man U do.

Wouldn't be surprised if Adidas come in.

It will stay Umbro. Were about to become their biggest ever advertiser with the way were heading. IIRC don't Nike own the company anyway? Business wise two of their "brands" with the biggest clubs in the premier league would suit them just fine.

Did we not sign up for 10 years with them?

Can't see the issue with both us and Utd having Nike though

Anyways, I think Umbro do the best kits by far

The deal when negotiated was good but with our exposure now we must be getting more money off of them

Either way they make us some proper good kits, long may it continue

I'm sure they'll be conditions within the contract that stipulate they pay us more should we start winning this that n the other and qualifying for the Champions League

Atletico -Nike
Real - Adidas
Barcelona - Nike

Chelsea - Adidas
Arsenal - Nike

United - Nike
Liverpool - Adidas

Milan - Adidas
Inter - Nike

River plate - Adidas
Boca Juniors - Nike

Brazil - Nike
Argentina - Adidas

There is a pattern lol

Also I think Umbro are a Manchester Company. I have a feeling this is what city would have wanted when choosing the kit manufacturer. Keeping Manchester founded and based businesses close tKit manufacturing

Main article: Umbro sponsorships
Umbro has produced kits for many notable football teams since establishment. Its first kit was produced in 1934, for Manchester City, who won the FA Cup that year.o the club. I like that.

haha yea, fuck all the signings... we won't be taken seriously until we have a tick or three stripes on our kit.

There;s not many nice kits in all that lot, Argentina aside. Umbro are class so far.

Umbro are making the nicest kits at the moment, have you seen nikes goalie tops?? Horrendous.
Adidas make the worst kits though, boring and predictable, or just plain ugly like the chelsea away top.

Argentina's new kit is superb

has an impression of the crest and underlining pressed into the shirt

Isn't there a rule which means that Nike/Adidas can't have the shirt rights for two teams in the same city.
Hence why 'big' clubs share the rights between the two/three?

Umbro's kits are so much better than those from Nike and Adidas. You get the feeling we're the 'flagship' Umbro team so we get the most attention to designs (for example the amount of thought that went into the away kit stripes). We wouldn't get that with Nike or Adidas, they'd be identikit designs. Look at West Brom and Stoke. But for the colours of the stripes their kits are pretty much identical.

With the exception of the dog's breakfast that is the current home kit, Umbro have produced 5 outstanding kits for us since Sheikhy took the club over. That said though I won't ever forget how they ditched us, probably their longest serving client, faster than you could say knife when the opportunity of making the rag's kits came along.

Umbro are owned by Nike, and Nike have a long term plan for Umbro which involves a cool brand linking football, music and pop culture. I hope it works out.

See i think its better than last seasons but regardless of that its still better than 90% of all other UK team kits so how exactly is it a dogs dinner
