UNBELIEVABLE

So the extra £50 for platinum, if say 30,000 people go for it, won't even cover a week's wages.

Our total season ticket revenue won't cover two months worth of wages.

Sort of puts the need for corporates into perspective.

Our wage bill is said to be £133 million.

That works out at £253 per minute throughout the year.

If you renew at a cost of £510 ( South Stand )

2 minutes later the money is gone, spent on wages.

But if yer factor in the bacon muffins and the sausage baguettes, it easily covers it!

Banger Baguettes rule all yummy mmmmm :)

& this is why our Mr Mansour is a legend.

spot on

This is said so easily these days but if he got bored tomorrow and went back into playing Polo we'd all be vying for his blood and calling him a P*ki

Footballers work in a private sector, this isn't the NHS, it's an entertainment industry.
The best entertainers get paid the most as they sell the most records, best footballers get the most bums on seats.
The buskers aka the League Two guys have to keep playing under the subway in hope they'll get talent spotted.

I do agree with a Basic Salary Cap in each league, players would earn the same amount but are given quite big bonuses for appearances and goals/assists.
This would encourage better performances and also discourage players from sitting on their asses as they'd be missing out on appearance bonuses.

Doubt he'll get bored, this is just the start off things!

Yes, but don't worry.

As I've been told numerous times on here, we'll cover all of those wages and losses and meet all regulations if we all stump up another £200 on top of our season tickets, pay a tenner extra every game for shit food and drink, pay a tenner extra each game for parking and other associated guff.

It's the only way, easy to do and, in fact, we should all be grateful to do so, apparently.
