Under The Cosh

Ive seen lots of clips from this and every single one has some absolute dickhead talking like an absolute dickhead. It has a certain kind of ex pro on it, non of which I would ever want to mix with in social circles put it that way.

My lad pointed me in the direction of Mark Crossley and his stories and impersonations of Brian Clough, totally funny as.

So if your a bit melancoly, or just fed up give this a listen to it will bring a big smile to you.

listened to this this morning, "shithouse" :)

The Carlton Palmer one was one of the worst. The presenters themselves do my head in especially the little sycophantic bald one.
The Kevin Campbell one I really enjoyed but generally I avoid watching it.

Agree with the palmer one tries not to come across as a arrogant **** but makes himself look even more like a arrogant ****

It’s a brilliant podcast …

Kingsley Black in talks about a move to Forest with Clough is funny. Asks for his shoes, tries them on and puts them into his filing cabinet till he signed.

Brian Laws collecting a package from Middlesbrough from Cloughie brother. Had to ask Nigel for his address and collected the package. Monday training Clough asks him did you get the package. Yes he says and opens the car boot. Still none the wiser Laws is intrigued as to what he’s collected. Clough opens the package and it’s home grown new potatoes.

Watch Simon Ferry regards Thomas Gravesen , absolutely gold
I’ve watched a few Simon Ferry podcast and even though I’ve been living in Glasgow nearly 11 years I can never understand a word he says.

If any of you lot listen to podcasts there is one called under the cosh where two ex players jon Parkin and Chris brown interview journeymen footballers.Just listened to the two part one with Nicky Weaver and it’s got loads of tales about the good/bad old days
Give it a go it’s brilliant
This forum is a bit grumpy.
A decent informative post and nobody cared to like it.

So I have. Thanks OP

Love this podcast and the Friday club spin off, but as someone has already pointed out, the two ex players are sound. The little bald hanger-on comes across as a bit of a bell end.

Some of Mark Crossley’s stories are funny. He’s a good talker too so puts his stories across well. When Clough gave him the new nickname of jigsaw - because when the ball comes into the box he goes to pieces. Brilliant.
