I was fuming when I read this on-line piece in the MEN. Unethical sacking? Hang on a minute, since when did Manchester City FC become a benevolent society for wayward managers? Mark Hughes had access to a far greater financial arsenal than Roberto has. Yet, despite all the money he spent Hughes couldn't even get us into the top four. It makes me sick all this misplaced loyalty (when it suits). MCFC were well within their rights to dismiss Hughes, he went into the job with his eyes wide open. Football is a results driven business, Hughes knows that and Baconface knows it too. It also proves twitcher Redknapp wrong when he said anyone could be successfull at City with that kind of money available to them.
