"The games I've been to at OT this season have been filled up with discounted tickets (which I bought from the uni near me), and what I imagine are free or heavily discounted tickets for school kids, because there was an insane amount of em in big groups with their teachers.
It's something I've ever seen on that scale before and IMO is due to us not being as appealing to watch. Obviously a big part of that is just the poor football, but United has also always had superstars until recent years so I reckon that's contributed too."

Giving loads away to schools on a regular basis but rags I know deny this happens and insist only City do that because we're "desperate". Head. Sand.

I don't know about schools, but one example last season was when Utd played Watford in the Premier League, there were brochures and leaflets everywhere offering cheap tickets for students. I think you had to buy them off Utd I think. They weren't free. I can't be sure, but I think it was £21. Wasn't it 35M basic, plus extra for scoring goals (nearly there I think), appearances for France and winning the Ballon d'Or.
