The absolute worst is when ex-players and fans still keep spouting 'the United way'. How many years of under-achievement and lack of success have to pass before this statement becomes as ridiculously inappropriate as suggesting the modern day idea that 'Jim'll Fix It'?

Hmmm, I wonder if the rag's revisionist diagnosis would be in evidence before this ludicrous and hilarious transfer deal. Even by their own massive bullshit standard, purchasing a player for £100m+ from a team they'd let go to for a song because their oracle of talent deemed too cocky, must take an enormous stride explaining to the rag stupid/faithful. Cue Sky, Talksport and BT, I suppose.
bang on the button.like i said earlier in this thread, there is gonna be some really embarrasing moments around the executive lounge at the sty this season.

i for one, cannot believe the powers that be at the sty have sanctioned this deal..the words ludicrous and hilarious are so appropriate here. Its quite sad to see this giant of english football carry out this panic stricken deal....just to keep up with their more classier neighbours..so desperate that someone, really, has said" yes..lets buy our own youth team player back for 100M"...it really does smash a hatchet through the nonsense thats been spouted for years about bringing their own youth team players through.

And , to cap it all, at the same time this ludicrous transfer is being sorted,a whole load of fergie/moyes fledglings are being shunted out the back door...the utd way.( pretty much how the families of the munich dead were shunted out of their homes weeks after the disaster..no longer of use to the money making machine called man utd.

i am gobsmacked.
but i shouldn,t be really.
last season, Norwich v utd , the game fell on valentines day...a player called LOVE was plucked from the youth team, to sit on the bench at Carrow road.sure enough, with a few minutes to go Mr Love was summonsed to the pitch to make his debut...and of course make history.and money.for the formidable commercial machine that is called man utd.when a club is so concerned with fiscal details such as this, you really have to wonder who is calling the shots at the club, and what their priorities really are...

The bomb-hoax squad are an embarrasment to the world of football.

Did they win the Premier League against Galatasaray with that Ibrahimovich bicycle kick? Feels like it with the amount of wanking that is going on

What's going to make me smile is this season every time Pogba is mentioned during games it will be as 'the product of their famous youth system' with either no mention of the fee, or simply 'who came home' (as if on a loan deal).

Looks like a double with the Dave whelan leg memorial trophy they won at Wigan. Too bad the shit houses ducked out on us in China, we will keep it in the bank for September.

BBC sport all over it,

BBC sport all over it, don't remember much coverage of their last friendly :-)

Do you remember when United fans took the mickey out of the Scousers with this? It sounds like a blueprint for United since Ferguson left Ha Ha

I note they won last night so the first two leading stories are about their game on BBC. I genuinely could not find out their score when they lost to Dortmund. It would be funny if it wasn't so blatant.

Don't want to appear picky cos i agree with all your sentiments in this post but it was Sunderland the day before Valentines day. Apart from one full appearance against FC Midgetland, that was his full rag career.
