Problems with your defence? Attackers not quite cutting it? Then call 999!

Big question is what they do with that midfield, Fellani and Pogba in tandem is asking for trouble. It's similar to what happened when Fernando and Yaya got paired up in midfield against the dippers last year. People running at them on all sides and one not being very mobile compounds the problem.

Then there is the centre backs, not really been tested before they came up against us. You could have drove a tank through them they were that wide apart. Aguero would have given them a torrid time if he'd played and would have made the score line a lot more realistic than what it ended.

Then you've got the attack, I would have started Rashford and Martial if he was worried about our full backs. Looks like Martial has fallen down the pecking order which is nuts as he's probably their best player going forward.

He's been found out and it's like the emporers new clothes. I don't think Jose has got it in his locker anymore to solve the huge underlying problems they have. I've said in another thread it may have been a better idea for them to have stuck with LVG, he gave youth a chance towards the end and they looked a bit more quicker. Now all I see is ten foot high statues that you can play around.

It's good to watch - piss funny in fact! Maureen will start Ibrahmimovice every game, meaning Martial and Rashford will be benchwarming, with the odd sub appearance throughout the season... which is great as i'd be far more concerned with those two on the pitch than Ibrahimovic, who strolls around, not arsed for most of the game – no surprise Pep fucked him off at Barca, the lazy twat.
As for Pogba... I would have thought he'd have started on Saturday... what's that? He did? ...like everyone else watching the match - I didn't see him!!! I can sense a Di Maria-type scenario developing with him, publically stating he really wanted Real blah blah..

It really speaks volumes that it seems like a general consensus from United fans that Rooney played well on Saturday. I think he was absolute dogshit, seemed like a pub player alongside our 'midfield three', so his 'worse' games must be a total pain in the arse for them fans. Long may it continue. :)

Long may he get a run in the side, there must be contractual stuff that he has to play otherwise he would have been bombed out 3 season ago. I also hear they are thinking about extending the Swedish Andy Caroll's contract. Apart from the well taken volley what else did he do? Can Bravo return his training gear he sent over.

It's all too easy to write them off following the match on Saturday but I'd urge a bit of caution. They don't come up against a side managed by Pep every week so will be fine against most other teams in this league. As such, I can't see them dropping away as easily as others have suggested. They've got some very good players and Mourinho is still a decent manager.

They were comfortably second best in the derby though - I expected a lot more from the likes of Pogba and Ibrahimovic (great finish for their goal but snatched at some other chances). Mkhitaryan was another - I rate him and thought he'd cause us problems but he didn't get a kick in that first half. The Bravo mistake let them back in against the run of play and that gave them the impetus to cause us problems in the second half, otherwise I think the scoreline would've been more emphatic. They certainly gave it a go after the break but it seemed to be more a case of long balls and hoping we'd fold under the pressure. United fans seem happy that they showed a bit of fight in the second half but given the squad they have, that should be the absolute bare minimum you would expect in a derby and only if you have a much inferior team to the opposition. It's the minimum of what I would expect of City in years gone by when they were the best team in the country and we were perennial strugglers.
