He's not a genius Bill, he's a 35 year old spoilt twat. He'll score a couple of worldies for them to set the likes of Tyler into a mad, frenzied wankathon but he's no team player.
Hand on heart, I'd hate to see filth like him playing for us.

:-)
Bang on.

Exactly. Like Martial last year scoring on his debut - and then what..... and big ears the year before, scores that goal against Leicester.... and then what?

Well, according to pundits, Martial has been worth every penny.

you are heading for a fall. the man is genius.
Obnoxious Cnut He may be, but, unfortunately, as you say Bill, an extremely talented one.

One of my biggest regrets of recent years that "Bobby" didn't get his way, post 2012, and bring him here.

Would've walked the league the following season had we done so.

Very much doubt that. United won in by 11 points and had a much better GD.

I don't mind a bit of the old "flawed genius" thing or a talented maverick.
It's the damage they can cause in the dressing room and divisions that bother me.
Le Tissier was a luxury capable of wonder strikes. You never got the feeling that he was a twat though.
Balotelli, Ibrahimovic and Costa are different though. Nobody doubts what they're capable of but there's a price to pay if things go tits.
If the rags want that kind of thing and to be managed by a cockroach, fair enough.
I want better for us.

He's going to cause a lot of defences in the bottom 2/3 of the table problems. He's big, strong, (still) quick and does shit no one expects.

Shame he's on his way to the US to join Galaxy (accodring to the latest rumours)

Saying that, The Scum did have the devil's own luck, when it came to lack of injuries, that season though.

It was certainly a big plus for them that Webb, Taylor, Atkinson & Twattenburg, all came through the entire season unscathed

made me laugh this

He'd be great for jose and the scum. They might even get a van rapist season out of him, but if you think you are a top European club and you are signing 35 yr olds to score goals you have issues. Scum.
