I'm in agreement with a lot of others here. Although it suits us (for now at least) to hope for a draw or a stuffy rag win, I can't bring myself to want anything other than a comprehensive and humiliating win for Liverpool. (followed by Jose pulis claiming that it was a fake result because 3 of the 7 goals looked a bit offside and if they'd have got a penalty in the 89th minute, they'd have clawed back another 6 to make it a draw)

I'd like to think that this time tomorrow we'll be talking about the football that was played (at least, by the Dippers!), and not about some ludicrous refereeing decisions that helped the vermin out...again. I'd like to think that, but there's always that air of inevitability surrounding the rags when things aren't quite going their way. You just know that a few controversial incidents will save them from defeat (a Dipper sending-off, a bizarre penalty awarded to the rags, a disallowed Dipper goal, A&E elbowing anyone from the opposition, with the apparent tacit approval of the ref).

It would just be so nice to actually -once in a while- discuss a rag game without having to question the referee's allegiance.

I'm with you on this, although I'd also throw in a few broken legs on both sides and loads of trouble in the stands. This really is a game where I hate more or less everyone involved.
