Yeah all this 'gonna be...' stuff is shit also, they spent a world record amount for a ready made world class player, the fact is he is so far from that is funny as it gets. I also doubt he ever will be this ultimate midfielder they thought he was.

With you on this. It seems that they've now realised that he's performing shit simply because he needs somebody else around him to make him look good. May try this at a future job interview. 'Well, I'm certainly the man for your vacant position - but you need to change a few of the workforce around me before I take the job'. Had we have bought a player at such a huge price, that was performing worse than some of our players that failed to make the 1st team, the media fallout would have been unbelievable.
 
I've said it Before and I'll say it again, even though I did what him at city, I would be fucking furious if 1) we paid anywhere near that amount and 2) his performance were this shoddy, apart from the header against Leicester and countless haircuts and wild, wayward SHOTS has he actually done anything remotely deserving of praise? Let alone anything to suggest he is/will be worth £100mil

We keep getting told he's not been played in the right formation, then when he is it's "oh no, he has to be in a midfield 3 with all the burden of defence on the other two" or that in order for Pogba to play properly United to spend a further £80mil getting Kroos etc. Etc which in itself begs the question: why on earth would you spend over £100mil on a player who you then need to spend a further £100mil to be made to look good? I do wonder if he were a city player this patience would be afforded him...

I see Mouyes has already taken to badmouthing his playing in the media!
