It pains me to say anything positive about the guy but Fergusson was the most successful manager that they have had and for one reason or another he binned off Pogba. On the basis of the last 3 halves of football he has played I am starting to think he may have had a point. He was absoljtely woeful in the derby and tonight he has totally failed to impose himself. He does the odd flick then spends minutes aimlessly wandering around. Doesnt seem arsed
Pogba is a decent player. Technically gifted, but very undisciplined. The problem is playing for Mourinho who at this point in his career just relies on good players to try to get him wins. Pogba needs to play for a coach and a team who is well organized and has a specific plan for him. For example he would do well with us because Pep would tell him what to do. He did well with Conte and Allegri because they had a specific plan. With Maureen he expects him just to go out and make things happen. Pretty telling that Rashford was trying to press on his own and none of his team mates did. Makes you wonder what the feck are they actually working on tactically.
