I think we can be fairly certain that - shall we say - refereeing decisions won't favour Ajax.

If all the conspiracy theorist nuts on here genuinely believe that these things are fixed in the favour of the rags – then you would all surely be betting significantly on a Rags win. I like to bet on the rags as a form of jinxing / voodoo but I do think that in this instance there is significantly more money to be made by UEFA on a rags win and maybe just maybe things will made as easy as possible for them. To be clear I’m not a conspiracy nut but I do have a significant amount on them to win this (that I put on a few rounds back). I will be delighted to lose it but it just seems that they have backed themselves into a corner with this competition and maybe UEFA will look to help them get out of it. The PR for UEFA and the sponsors if the rags win this and get in the CL will be big, if they lose it then not so much. Come on Ajax!

I'm not a conspiracy theorist either, but shit happens. It could be just happenstance.......................................

My favoured outcome for this game would be an overtly biased and corrupt refereeing display by the officials, giving United dodgy decisions, penalties and offside goals, but Ajax still completely blow them out of the water and go on to win against all odds, with the officials looking around helplessly.

Or any Ajax win would do.

Ajax need a strong ref , to stop the two footed tackles and Bog Brushes elbows combined with PEG's constant whining from the touchline , i still think this game has already been decided because UEFA desperately want the Rags in the Champs league , just can't see Ajax overcoming these odds.
I believe UEFA a have chosen an up and coming referee called Antonio Tàylar alongside Leonardo Màson as the 4th official.
