the dirty tricks in the media you can put money on united winning and the ref giving them everything they will get a pen or a wba player sent off but the game will be made easy for united they will walk the game

You can bet your house on United winning this game, probably 'to-nil' as well. WBA and Pulis cannot get good results away from home, if they could they would be above United!!

Also, can you really see West Brom beating Arsenal and United on the trot? I doubt they will even be motivated, they have their 40 points + 1 win. That will do them for the season

Another for the list....

While David De Gea is getting more and more likely to leave Manchester United, after six seasons, and become the new regular goalie for Real Madrid, Red Devils management are ready to try the blitz for signing Italian international Gianluigi Donnarumma(18) from AC Milan. In new contract talks with Rossoneri for a long time, the 1999-born sensation is tracked hard by Juventus, Chelsea, Manchester City, as well as by Merengues themselves.

If those vile cûnts buy Neymar for £173m then either we need to sign Messi AND Bale, or the game is fucking dead to me. For so long I had to put up with shitty rags being the 'biggest club in the world', and now we're finally on a par financially it would be criminal to let them get ahead again on the pitch and commercially.

So...

You want Messi who'll be 30 in June and Bale who will be 28 in July to join 'our' ageing squad just to keep up with a club because they are reportedly interested in signing a world class player?

Who would you leave out? Messi would demand a game, every game. Sane and Jesus alongside him with Aguero up front. An exciting front line indeed. This leaves Bale sitting on the bench with Sterling, DB and Silva. Oh wait, Aguero and Messi don't really go well together so Let's put Jesus up front and sell Aguero. Problem sorted. DB can replace him in the team. Bugger, now we still have Sterling, Spanish Dave and Bale on the bench. But Bale really has to play so let's do this...

The trouble with your nearly eloquent post is that you are playing fantasy football. We used to do the same years ago when we were a bit shit. I suspect you won't remember those days due to you not being a City fan but rather a fan of another club trying to play a crap game of "fishy fish fish".

I'm guessing Man United given your rather fanciful boasts in your profile.

When I read his/her post, first thing that sprung to mind was Peter Swales

As you say, the days of us chasing them are ling gone. In fact, one could argue their transfer 'policy' is a reaction to us and the wider game, they need to stay relevant on the pitch and in the headlines - Also, I don't think they would have gone for Mourinho if we had't got Guardiola. I think they would have 'give it to Giggsy'

Spot on i think, they are chasing us now and are currently nowhere near us on the pitch. If anything, i can see us being the ones making strides forward on the pitch as well, not them. We clearly have positions we need to strengthen and Pep will do that which will totally cement the style of play he wants, where they will just spunk money for the sake of it regardless of how it fits on with their team.

They have no style, they have no identity, which is their choice. They are on a 3 year trophy grab with Mourinho, and they will worry about what happens after that when it comes. Both ways of working are equally valid - lets compare say Barcelona and Chelsea over the last 5 years or so. Both have been very successful domestically with some European success

He's the rising star, and I think he shares an agent with Carlton et al.
