They're ignoring debt and looking purely at year to year profit and loss before interest and tax for 14/15+15/16. Makes sense normally as usually debt is used to create revenue for a business (i.e building a new bigger stadium that brings in more income) and would increase enterprise value. They're ignoring the fact that it's actually Glazer family debt and has never been used to strengthen the rags as a business though.

They've also brought in stadium ownership as a positive which seems to be why Bayern and ourselves seem low, despite both clubs having full financial control of state of the art stadia with low yearly payments compared to Barca and Madrid, who will have to replace theirs soon.
