I think he did, but Morata has turned down the chance to work with him before.

He was answering me. Needless to say, I disagree with his comments in bold but he's entitled to his opinion as I am mine. The way I see it, when van Gaal was clearly on his way out of United, a poll of their fans revealed that over 80% wanted Pep to replace him and if he'd ended up there I for one would've been gutted.

As for your next paragraph, well it was myself rather than a United fan that stated only 3 teams set out with serious ambitions of winning the PL. I base that on transfer spend and I stand by it. Regardless of finishing positions, those 3 tend to make the biggest statements in the market every season. That's not to say other teams can't win it of course.

My mistake then, I thought it was coming from a rag perspective.

well today according to reports Ronaldo has told the rags he will never rejoin them - they wouldn't want him to anyway - and reports that Zidane and Ramos don't think Real need DeGea - so their cash cow could be sunk too. Not laughing - honest.
