It looks like the rags are ready to get rinsed again with Edwood Woodwood lubing himself up as we speak. £60 million for a player no other club is in for? It looks like di Maria, Pogba and Martial all over again. Just think how much they'd have to pay if a competing bid was made by another club.

The scum like us gets rinsed on fees

There's definitely a 'City Tax' on our transfer payments but the rags take getting dry bummed to a new level. Their fans' attitude is that they don't care because they're the richest club in the world, they can afford it, it's their money and they've earned it. They add that City, on the other hand, are dependent on handouts of 'oil money' from 'the Sheikh'.

Out of those 15 wonder how many of em were when Madrid were 2 or 3 up because they count for fuck all if so.

Its 1st goals and winning goals that say how good a striker is.
Since joining Madrid in 2010 here are his professional stats from 2010-2017
188 appearances Goals 58 hardly prolific and certainly not worth the money they are talking about

70 million Euros is insane. The market is going crazy with Lukaku quoted for 100 million pounds etc. Bet those KDB, Sterling, Sane, Bernardo Silva fees look cheap as fuck. We got Jesus for fucking cheap as well mind you.

Also, no idea why everyone was cribbing about 40 million euros spent on Moares when clearly 70 is the new 40.

I think his stats at Real madrid are OK, but they should be. 80% possession against cannon fodder. I could score for Real Madrid. He didn't really do it in italy. Not a roaring success anyway.

Why do Utd seemingly wait until releasing Ibrahimovic and then go for Morata? Real Madrid can just ask the Earth now, and probably will. Utd knew Ibra was injured months ago They should have done the deal then not now.

Yes they say that, and yet City still manage to turn a profit. And what happens when City win a Champions League, then the sponsor money leaves Utd and comes to City and they drown under Glazer debt.

Good Lord. So, if they sign Morata, that'll be three players, possibly four, they've bought costing more than our most expensive signing ever. They're ruining football.

Pogba held down a first team place at Juventus and he's hardly set the world alight

I've not seen much of Morata but from what I have seen, he doesn't look like a potentially successful Premier League striker. Certainly not for a team with United's 'style' of play
The original point I questioned was about a comment that Morata hardly ever scores which was rubbish.
I think he has the attributes to be successful in the premier as his goals are varied, has reasonable pace and good strength in possession, you may be right about him not suiting man ures style of play tho.

Whats his goal ratio through his career up to now?
