We went for a draw & we got one.
Embarrassing mentality.
Embarrassing mentality.
Pretty muchboth teams were crap.
Being in it is what sustains this club, blown away or not!Even if we got into the CL this squad would last 5 minutes unless we have big plans to sign some real talent for next season. Would rather not be in it than be blown away.
Send that to Pep and Amorim.United v City brief highlights

Against one of the worst teams in the league yea. The problem has not been the youngsters this season. It has been injuries and midfield that is so unbalanced. We should got rid Silva, not taken Gundo back and let Walker mess us around. The one thing Slur Alex Ferguson did well is got rid of players at the right time until he left. Real have been good at this as well.
Look at what happened to Barca when they got rid of Gundo and started playing youth. Look at PSG when they started playing a young energetic team. Look at red scouse what happened when they played and old and slow midfield a few years back.
The planning has been terrible over last few seasons.
That's the piece that worries me. Without solving some of our dilemmas this season we go into the summer and next season in a bigger state of experimentation. So in that case we probably have to write off next season too. This season can't end soon enough
Newcastle have 2 games in hand and an easy run in. Its entirely possible we finish outside of the UCL places and will have also learnt nothing about our young players.Win our home games and Southampton away and we have chumps league but that was fuckin awful and cannot be repeated
Don’t let it end before we get to Wembley, again…This season can't end soon enough
Newcastle have to play Arsenal, Villa and Brighton away also play Chelsea so some dropped points, Rags and Everton Ipswich homeNewcastle have 2 games in hand and an easy run in. Its entirely possible we finish outside of the UCL places and will have also learnt nothing about our young players.
So refreshing to see a couple of your posts . The drop off has been stark this season and it’s been coming with the culmination of success year after year. We were always going to hit the buffers at some point and this is it. I wouldn’t swap Pep for anyone , he’ll be aware more than ever of our pitfalls. On the surface we have the right to question some of his decisions but we know there is a method in his madness .Us fans need to have a bit of patience as this is no easy fix and the overhaul might take a couple of years to fix but I’m sure we he will leave us in good shape regardless of him being here or not .People wondering why Pep may have been cautious today?
Perhaps he is more aware than any of us that this team he has available at present aint capable of playing the way he wants it to or needs it to?
Im still not sure people realise how poor we have been this season compared to where we were....not just in the games we have lost but in the ones we have won as well....even some of those near the start of the season we only just scraped through. Its been blindingly obvious that none of the midfield are upto it anymore - esp KDB, Gundo, bernardo and Kova right from the first few games...most of the new accusitions dont change any of the issues caused by the drop off in ability of those 4.. plus Foden (with whatever is going on with him)
Nico G is a good player but he aint Rodri (he could become that levell) but he aint there yet - now why didnt Pep play him today I honestly dont know...this is the only selection I would question today
Maybe he aint fully fit and had a knock but who knows...
Fans need to be realistic or next season is going to hit hard for some as without the best transfer summer in history this aint changing quickly and Rodri returning only sorts out some of the issues (and thats if he returns at the extreme high level he was at in the first place)
