United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

He probably needs a ride and to stop over analysing everything…

I found him frustrating when we had those early league and CL battle with the dippers and he’d literally lose his fucking mind and spit his dummy out every game which would conspire to see us lose…..

Peps not perfect but he needs someone to take the pressure off him or at least someone to tell him it’s ok …take a break, come back when your right..
Could be. Difficult to lose a wife and maybe needs a time of refreshment or a break. He won't get that this Summer with so much football to manage.

big rebuild needs to happen and emotions are last thingss taken into account. do we love Gundo, Bernardo, KDB? yes. did they deliver a lot for us over the years? yes.
should we build around them going forward?
not at all.

same could be said about either Stones or Ake. Grealish as well. etc.
spot on

The rebuild is going to be bigger than we thought......
No it isn't. No City fan should have been surprised at what we watched. Our midfield includes 33 and 34 year old players and we were missing Rodri and Haaland. I am quite happy with that result although it was a horrible game.

It should be entirely expected though.

Nottingham Forest will be licking their lips watching that. How are we going to break them down? And unlike Man Utd, Forest have very good counter-attacking players.

All smiles and handshakes pre-game
All pats on the back and helping each other up off the floor during the game.
All smiles and handshakes post-game.
Yes, I turned it off as soon as I saw that at the end.
My rag supporting other half burst out laughing at me stomping and ranting about the house at the result, tactics, zimmer frame midfield and mutual love in after final whistle.

just signed the best young talent in South America. And where is he? You can’t tell me he’s worse than dad’s army today. No fucking way!!!!
No idea what is going on, where the fuck is Echeverri and Bobb missing again today after getting five minutes last Wednesday

Its entirely the point, we arent entitled to a damn thing and we are having an off season and given the injuries we have had this season its a fucking miracle we are where we are so of course 5th isnt what we want or what we are used to but you have to look at the season and whats occured in it and accept the reality of that
I've been a Blue since I was 10, I'm nearly 60 now, I know we are entitled to nothing, we're not united, or liverpool, we earn our position, as it stands, we MAY earn 5th, or possibly 4th, but whatever happens we'll hopefully build and improve again, if not changes will be made.

Two years ago we were playing seriously high-calibre football, not just beating teams like Madrid, Bayern, Arsenal, but fucking brutalizing them.
From that to this. Fuck me.
Crap set up and shape. Can‘t play out from the back. Can‘t move the ball through the middle of the pitch. No creativity. No cohesion. No plan.
Shit team selections. Shit subs.
Apart from that, ok?.

I'm going to assume Guardiola's contract gives him some huge payout if he gets sacked and nothing if he resigns.

This is the generous take on his performance this season.
