No-one else to blame for yesterday's shocker is no other than pep, what a fking ridiculous team selection, the only change there should of been from the lecister game was,, possibly gundog for kdb,, other than that it should of been exactly the fking same,,,,
Said it b4 and I will say it again, he needs to go thanks for the memories, but quite frankly I'm bored with him, we need fresh ideas

Que all the bollocks I'll get thrown at me now

Lol

By the Cup Final we might have some more players: Stones, Rodri, Haaland and Bobb.

But that means getting past Forest. We struggled yesterday and Forest will play similarly.
Yesterday if the game went on for another 4 hours we would not have created.

The manager's attitude to the game for me was shocking, he set us up for a point, that shows just how far standards have dropped at the club.

And why the &uck is Nico on the bench when the club dropped 60m on him and Pep is playing old men that simply are broken?

So I agree he has let this happen, it did not have to be changed all at once like it has to be now, so he is at fault
Pep admitted he should have bought in the Summer. We have called time on KDB and bought in Jan. so the rebuild is underway. No one is perfect.

went to the pub before the game , bit pissed then got back and had sex with my girlfriend rather than watch that

from the match report sounds a bit like the 0-0 in winter 2010 at their place when we played a defensive team?
So you won more duels than any of our players yesterday :)

A draw away at United, the worst united in premier league history, with no attacking ambition is a shocker however you dress it, even more so when we need every possible point for our top 5 fight
I hope you aren't suggesting four-in-a-row doesn't get us automatic qualification for the Champions League.

So your quite happy with the lineups he's picking, everything is tickerdeboo..... Fine no probs
No one is happy with the line ups but here is something to think about.

At present the whole squad that is available aint good enough or experienced enough or both

No change in personnel or formations changes anything at present

The only real change I would have made to the starting 11 yesterday was Nico Gonzales for Kova. and ironically in the whole shit midfield Kova was probably the better one - though still poor

KDB - if he doesnt play who replaces him
Gundo - who replaces him
Foden - who replaces him

Grealish has been shit for 18 months...one good game against possibly the worst and certainly the most passive team in Leicester that I have ever seen in the prem doesnt prove anything. Pep has never started Grealish centrally much in his whole career with us...why? Because he AINT GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY THERE....he is a bang average footballer at best who people dont want to admit has been baring one better period in his game, for all intense and purpose been a huge flop...completely likeable person and seemingly a lovely bloke off the pitch but on it is possibly one of the most overrated footballers Ive ever seen at us in the last decade

So everyone says he should have played Doku and Sav. Now i love Doku as a player...brave, relentless and tries constantly to make things happen (the antithisis of Grealish to be exact) but he is a high risk player as is Savihno - neither have been ripping up trees for us this season..For all the tricks and skills what do either of them produce on a regular basis - not much (the drop off in quality at present between those two and Sterling Sane and Mahrez is just astounding)

So who else changes anything from that starting 11 yesterday....Khusonov? He changes nothing going forward - defensively more solid that Nunes (who again ironically was one a our few better players yesterday) but as an attacking threat Khusonov changes nothing.

The long and short of it is - this squad at present is a mid table team at best - we are losing the likes of Gundo, KDB, Bernardo who would get in any premiership winning team ever for any team and be guarnateed starters
We have lost Rodri on top of that
Walker has gone and is done at the top level
Stones - MOtM in a CL final - finished due to injuries

The rest of the squad and in particular our midfield options aint anywhere near the level of any of those players at their peak...not even close

Sav, Doku are squad fillers at best at present
Nico G looks a good player but he aint a Rodri clone - not even close
Marmoush is a puzzling buy...when Haaland is fit where does he play? -He aint a number 10 thats for sure and Im not sure he is a number 9 either - the only positions i can see him playing is wide of Haaland on either left or right...

Now compare that to the likes of Sane, Sterling, Mahrez (all way better players than our current options at present) Alvarez (who is a better striker than Marmoush).
Is Khusonov better than prime Kyle Walker - no...looks a great player and he could become as good as prime walker and maybe even better but he aint at present

This squad is midtable levels at present

It was the team selection and doing nothing to change it after watching that shit we served up.

He was playing the old guard who we have watched all season get battered, not able to win a duel and slow as fuck and still insisted with it.

If we would have got beat 2-0 of United no one could have said they didn't deserve it and United are fucking terrible.

The only midfielder who can win a duel, Nico, is left on the bench. It honestly baffles me.

Last season Pep won us 4 titles in a row.

Read that back. Then read it again.

One season where the players are older, injured, and cant do it anymore etc and you want the best manager in the world to leave.

I am puzzled why Nico Gonzalez is suddenly out of the picture but I don't think City were ever capable of going to OT and beating their 5 man defence. Peak City would struggle.

Doku ( who was awful) still managed to get their FB booked within minutes of coming on.

Southampton and Ipswich have both outplayed the rags at the swamp.

At least go down fighting, that has to be the worst derby for lack of passion I have ever witnessed.

FFS change the record..you slag off Grealish all the time..we get it you don't rate him..
When he plays central he's much better than what we have in Gundo and Kev as they are past their best albeit both are legends.

I do agree regarding the team,, but as uve said he is responsible for this no one else,, he's had the money to sort it if he wanted too but chose to stay with the old gaurd,
And In my opinion I would rather of gone with the team that faced liecester and got beat, at least that team would of had a go, and got in there faces, it's fking boring pal the shit he's churning out most off the time now.
He has watched this team age, he decided for the most part to carry on, and he decides the line ups
Sorry but that is a bullshit line that everyone comes out with...
If we had got beat yesteday no matter who he played it would have been way more toxic on here

He aint the only one responsible for watching the team age -Txixi and Khaldoon have a part in this as well.....the money that has been spent in winter -everyone seems to believe that was correctly spent as well BUT itsgoing to take way more than that and getting players into replace the likes of KDB Gundo, Bernardo doesnt happen in a winter transfer window...it will be hard enough in the summer transfer window

why...people saying Grealish is better there are just wrong....Pep has had years to play him there and has rarely dont it....people ust hate hearing it....Grealish is average at best - what is your basis of evidence that Grealish is better there- one game against the most passive team in the league in Leicester....

I dont slag him off personally - I said he was a nice person infact - but as a player he is overrated on a scale hithertoo unseen and if that offends peoples egos cause they really wanted him and thought he was the best thing since sliced bread when we bought him and have been proven mistaken then I dont really care.
Id love him to have proved me wrong but he hasnt

Pep had too much power, we delayed in the summer market because it looked like he was going to go this summer, that's come back to haunt us and should NEVER be allowed to happen again.

The team selection was cowardly but the biggest shock was him playing all dads army again and no nico gonzales. We signed him in Jan to address a big problem and it seems now Pep has gone all Kalvin Phillips on him.

That's the crux. They're better defensively than the rags and certainly better in attack. Can we beat them? Of course, but it is doubtful we will win unless our key players find some form....but will they? We've been waiting for them to do so all season and so far it hasn't materialised.

You knock him every chance you get..I hope you are more supportive to him at the games.
I never said Grealish was fantastic but he's more mobile holds the ball better and is a much better option than the others we play in midfield..as I say Kevin and Gundo are legends but they have lost their stamina and pace so it's easy to play through us..at least Grealish competes.

Just pointing out that City have scored 57 goals this season as against 37 scored by the rags…
Which is the second highest
Yep, i take your point there Shirley ..... but don't forget that in one or two title winning seasons we've scored over 100 goals, and by this stage of the season ( early April) we've probably scored around 70 or 80 of them!

Whenever we have won the title we have usually been the Premier Leagues TOP scorers.

We are still a team relying far too much on Haalands goals, and the goals aren't generally being shared around the rest of the side, as they have been in the past ..... and we are suffering because of it ..... we also don't create the amount of chances that we once did either.

United are having similar problems ..... unless Fernandes comes up with the goods, as often as he does .... who else REGUARLY (not occasionally) chips in with goals??? Hojlund scores a few every now and again, Garnacho too on the odd occasion... but their goal outputs are nowhere near enough to make a real difference!

This season has proved that it isn't performances with Jack that keeps him out the team. He came on at Bournemouth and done well. Scored midweek and then he is dropped. The best part of it all is he is dropped for players that have underperformed all season. Foden, Kdb, Gundog, Bernardo etc. All constantly getting minutes ahead of Grealish who has looked more than steady when playing. So you can use that Pep not playing him often must mean Grealish cannot do it, but Pep is consistently playing players who cannot do it either, players that are older and don't have the engine Jack has. Jack isn't the saviour, but his lack of minutes is wrong from Pep, even more when absolute crap gets played every week.

I still can't understand what I watched yesterday.
City bought in January fresh legs and we don't use them.
Rags are shit
It almost seemed like a deal had been done that both teams wanted a draw.

Young legs in midfield and City would have walked that game.

The atmosphere was piss poor City could be heard but apart from a few minutes the rags were silent.

A very very odd game glad I didn't pay 70quid to watch that like the rags did.

I feel cheated by that game
