Wear a firm arch support to lift tension off the facia and it should feel a whole lot better. No bare foot walking.
I had it and yes it is very painful. My poditarist gave me two exercises , the one that seemed to have the biggest effect, was to stand on the bottom step of a set of stairs. have something to hold onto. Stand on the step with just your toes and lower your heels doen as far as you can, without slipping off, for a count of 5 secs. repeat for a small number of times . gradually increasing the repetitions each time you carry out the execise. Cured mine within 10 days and it has never come back.

Thank you both!!

I get why everyone is a little down after yesterday, it was awful. But, happy clapper that I am, I firmly believe there is nobody better than Pep to turn it around.
Admittedly I've questioned him at times but it's madness to want him gone. There is no one better to get us through this. I agree yesterday was a big disappointment. I didnt agree with his starting line up, it was far too safe. It was obvious he decided to save the wingers till the second half when the rags might be tired but Amorim has them disciplined and well conditioned to stay longer in the games. Dont forget we were without Haaland and we're learning a whole new style so it's a bit risky to try new things in a derby game. It didn't pan out the way we wanted but it was a point gained and we move on. It's still all to play for.

Play sav and doku and we gain an attacking threat,, and put kush back in switch O'Reilly to midfield along with Nico, Bobby to come on again do a cameo role, Grealish instead of Foden and yer know what we may of lost, but it would of been a damsight more exciting than the same old shite we saw again yesterday,, and playing that sort of team Marmoush naturally plays a better game
so you would rather lose and be entertained than get a point and have a boring game....?

Play doku and Sav and we are more wide open than normal - not great against a team thats only weapon is to play on the counter attack

If you are putting a kid who has virtually no first team experience into centre of midfield in a derby who are we playing at left back yesterday - Rico Lewis? playing him with no defence on the flanks in front of him is suicide

even taking my view of Grealish out of this and putting foden on the bench which i can accept...how many times has Jack Grealish been creative or scored in ANY position - he hasnt been playing for a reason(s) which I can only guess are a mixture of off field issues and Pep feeling that he either aint training well enough, focussed enough or for whatever reason he just isnt at the level required - the fact that its been nearly 2 seasons where he his appearances have been getting less and less should tell everyone something.... Yes Foden has been poor and obviously struggling but he is a goal threat far more than Grealish ever has been even when playing badly.

The biggest issue for me yesterday besides not playing Nico was the fact that he played KDB - what we cannot do is turn the rest of the games this season into a fairwell tour for KDB - he is a legend and the club should treat him as such but at present he is the first name on the bench EVERY GAME - but who else plays instead of him....and again it cannt be Jack Grealish -he aint good enough and his form/stats/appearances since he has been at the club again should tell you everything about why that is the case

at the end of the day Im just as unhappy as you with the performances throughout the season and yesterday. However Ive accepted that this current crop of players either arent good enough anymore due to age (Walker, gundo, KDB, Bernardo), has been weakened by injuries (Stones , Ake , Akanji, Haaland and Rodri - possibly Bobb but to a lesser extent) and too inexperienced (Sav, Oreilly, Bobb and Nico Gonzales (in the prem at least) ). We also have to accept that some players just arent good enough (Kova, Rico, Nunes, Grealish)

when you look at it like that it makes it easier to see why we are struggling compared to recent seasons. It also shows you that there is limited chance to change things on a weekly basis....I mean, look, at the first two lists

KDB
Rodri,
Gundo
Haaland
Walker
Bernardo
Stones
Ake
Akanji

Thats 9 players that in their prime would get into any team in the world (or most of them would with maybe the exception of Ake and Akanji- but they would get into most teams) - is it any wonder when you lose that lot for what ever reason that our form goes...how is Pep supposed to legislate for that or more importantly change it....its not like with some players they can be played into form....Walker, KDB. Gundo Stones and Ake are all finished for different reasons but ultimately their bodies cant take it anymore....(maybe bernardo doesnt quite fall into that category)

Which youth would have played?

Show us the 11 you’d have started with?
Ederson
Khush Ruben Josko Nico O
Nico G
Gundo

Nunes Marmoush Savinho

McAtee

On the bench
Stefan Borson
Reis
kdb
Jack
Mubama
Echeverri

Nothing is worse that watching a combination of foden, gundo and Silva. It is better playing youth then. We are going to miss the CL spot regardless. Sowhy waste time with players that won’t be here next season or need a break from football

I think Marmoush will come into his own a bit over the next few months. We've played de Bruyne as a second striker for a lot of his appearances in the last 18 months, one that would suit Marmoush very well. Seen enough of him to encourage me a lot.

Savinho had his best spell on the left, hopefully we get to see him there more.

Foden will hopefully recover some form next season. That's an attacking front 4 sorted there with the big man up top. Goals in that system.
agree on Marmoush looking encouraging....but not sure how he fits in...if he is clever enough he can adapt his game

foden hopefully will recover...he just needs time away from football I think - players have off seasons all the time..

Agree sav is better on the left...but that means we have no one for the right hand side and Sav will need to be more adaptable, work on his finishing and also work on his defensive responsibilities....

I ended up in the kitchen on more than one occasion making a roast dinner!!
Not good, is it. You only have to read the posts in the matchday thread. People are thinking about mowing the lawn or what's on TV next. I hope we can get a big refresh in the summer and start to play more dynamic, attacking football. Marmoush brings that directness and energy but the rest of the players (Haaland and perhaps Doku aside) seem to have forgotten how important speed and tempo are. We are so SLOOOOOWWWWW. It's no wonder we're finding goals hard to come by.

The price for 4 in a row mate.
Possibly, I think last year was a great achievement considering what we had won before and the first signs of players coming towards the end. 4 in a row is historic and maybe having 2/3 years off it is then the price. Whilst I am not happy with our crap recruitment and preparation for a rebuild, I would take 4 in a row over it.

Without a doubt.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but if you think the drop off is bad this season, wait until Pep actually leaves.
The drop off will be huge and sustained. Replacing the best manager in the world is no easy task. Careful what you wish for.
Now I am not one of those who have been looking to replace Pep but how bad are you expecting it to be?

When Hughes was sacked after 18 games we had 29 points. Over the last 22 games Pep has won 29 points.

What sort of drop off are you expecting?
