Dalot gets the red and we might've held on heroically for a 0-0, honestly one of the most embarassing derby performances of all time, and to do it against a terrible rags side makes it far worse, literally every single other team in this league including the utter dross at the bottom of the table would've caused the rags more problems, yes it's their cup final but to not even trouble their keeper once all game is bloody criminal, a truly sackable performance.

That was really poor from City. The alarming lack of fight, conviction and poor decision making allowed a poor United side to beat us easily, and it could have been worse than it was. Only Donnarumma and Khusanov of those who started played well. That was embarrassing. It would have been far worse without Donnarumma.

Rico Lewis - if he continues to play games - we continue to deserve to lose...predicted in the pre match thread and nowhere for either goal. we needed 2 right backs in the summer - we still need 2 right backs now. I actually predicted the first goal how it would happen....when Lewis is on the pitch he steps into midfield....slwos everything down as he isnt good enough there and then cant recover....he was taken apart by utds right hand side from the first minute and again it was predictable

rodri - said in the summer we needed reinforcements in midfield and that we wouldnt see a fully fit Rodri for a year at least and possibly never again....we got Reijnders who looks fucking poor.

I said we needed at least two left backs....we got one who has looked bang average every time he steps on the pitch and have played a kid into almost exhaustion.

Semnyo - I like the signing but i also said at the time he will struggle - we saw that today....against a packed defense does he have the tools to play - we have to wait to see but today he didnt.

Haaland needs help - he is clearly knackered and potentially carrying an injury as he cant run or jump properly...but we have no one so again played into exhaustion.

Centre halfs - i said Ake and Stones were done....I was right - neither will play enough and when they do Ake is nowhere near able - he is one stretch away from another 3 months on the sideline and he plays like it. ...but yet again we were told by bigger blues that this was wrong

But keep rotating one player a match to avoid tiredness. Sit haaland and foden down for a couple of games. If nunes and Gonzales are back get them in. Find some rhythm and make sure we rotate. Alleyne, reijnders, foden, haaland, Bernardo can all be rotated in but not all at once.

Rico Lewis always being closer to the opponents box than Cherki or Foden does my head in. Huge part of the problem. He's not good enough to play there at this level and he's not fast enough to defend counters from his position.

Missing Ruben and Josko is costing us big time.. Can't rely on Ake Lewis and Max in big games to be fair.
The lack of pace in defense is shocking. . only Khus has any pace.
But the biggest thing is the lack of fight today.. We looked half hearted.. Erling is definitely either carrying a knock or something because he looks fucked.
Big Don was excellent today..
Pep knew exactly how the rags would play.. Hit it long behind the defenders and run on to it.. So why the fuck did he play our two slowest players as full backs??
The team need to regroup and start playing like they mean it..
