Team were poor, them 2 were the worst of a bad bunch!
Oh aye, I'm not blaming them - I think they were put in a shite situation and then performed as we'd expect. Just surprised at how many times it was given away, particularly as neither really crossed it. I think Rico tried a through ball or 2 though.

Weve got the tight squad of players available today to rip the arse out of them,so u tell me ehy that happend if its not them pathetic tactics or team selection
Eh? What’s a “tight” squad of players?
You have to acknowledge that they had all their best players available today. We were without 5 first team players & have had so many injuries it’s clearly affecting the team. Rags only play once a week now too.

Glyn Pardoe was a converted striker.
Good shout, but he showed defensive instincts straight away, didn't he?

If somebody has been exposed repeatedly, like Ait-Nouri or Rico, they are never going to make it there, not at the levels required for any team seriously challenging for trophies.

It is not an attack on the individuals - I was hopeless in defence, too easily drawn towards the ball. By the time that I notice it in a player, you can bet your life that every other coach already has.

Even allowing for the fact that it was their Cup Final, to raise the white flag even as you arrive at the stadium is beyond embarrassing. Even if Dalot had walked they would have easily beaten us with 10 men. Only Khusa, Donnarumma and Bernardo came out of that with any credit.
A complete shit show from Pep. I know it's an unpopular opinion on here but we have zero character or leadership in this team. I'd take Vinny K back as Manager in a heartbeat.

Disappointed in the blues who left early. I thought we were shite but you still stay and get behind the lads. Hope they don't get tickets in the away end again
I was a bit taken aback with that our away support is vibrant and loyal. But as I said earlier this was probably the worst we have ever played in my long lifetime against this lot. I am not certain if I would have walked out, I hope not.

Its like he's frightened of those games and doesn't want to really put it on the line in case we lose. Somehow not being at our best and losing is more acceptable to him. Almost deliberately hamstrings us.
I came to the conclusion long ago that he is brilliant at managing a squad (not a team) over the course of a season. He drills the squad so that everyone knows the routine and by and large we can survive injuries and suspensions, swapping player A in for player B and still coming out on top after 38 games. Unlike when Liverpool won it a few seasons back and played virtually the same 11 for 38 games, which is lucky in the extreme.

But for ANY one-off must-win game, he's bang average at best. And I am being generous. Couple that with his "it's just 3 points" attitude, and the result is far too often we underperform at Anfield or the swamp. And need I remind anyone of the CL final shambles against Chelsea.

His ability to pick the right starting line up for a big game is iffy and his in-game management downright rubbish.

We aren’t in the title race, just chill and see what happens, be delighted with top 4 and a trip to Wembley

The thing about Haaland is you’re right, he is a goal machine, except when he isn’t.
He isn’t someone who create something out of nothing all on his own. He needs decent service, he got nothing again today. How totally depressing to see the ball get recycled 50 times at the edge of their box.

Im gonna go back to a simple tried and tested method the last 2 years, and even this season has shown with a new player.

Get Foden and now Cherki on the ball as much as possible. The more touches they have the better we will be.

Has anyone got Haalands stats, since Norway qualified for the WC? Looks to me to be hiding, not wanting to get injured and miss the tournament! Certainly not putting in the effort he was earlier in the season!

Nope 10 mins in rags down to ten men mentally the game be totally different! We would of controlled the game a lot better and picked them of..

Before we go on about the shambolic and inept performance, let's talk about the sending off that wasn't. Every fucking game we're getting shafted yet not one person in the media is highlighting it. Its criminal what's going on. Anyway, talking about criminals, there were 9 of the cunts on that pitch today and one on the touchline. Sorry Pep, you're the goat and have been magnificent, but you need calling out on that side you put out and that lack of team talk at half time. First couple of seconds, ball played out to Ake who can't control a fucking pea roller pass! Do you wonder why Alleyne then looked a bag of nerves looking at that. Foden and Haaland were nothing short of disgraceful! Brilliant players, but both now need dropping and a rocket up their arses. Rodri was poor, never got into the game, maybe because he was kicked to fuck with impunity but he was poor for his standards. The rest of team bar Kushy and Donnarumma were poor, very poor. I turned it off after first goal because I was fucking sick of what I was watching(I also thought if I turned it off and prayed that we'd score) Lewis though..I'm not a hater, but WTF! Anyway, it's a week long media black out for me, really fucking hate those vile cunts with every fuckin breath. We'll be back. CTIFD!
