United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

FACT 1. Raheem Sterling wasn't signed by Pep.

FACT 2. Raheem's performances went into decline under Pep.
FACT 1. Sterling played the best football of his career under Pep.

FACT 2. Sterling's time at City ran it's course and it was the correct time to part ways.

FACT 3. Since Sterling has left City he's been abysmal at Arsenal and Chelsea, he needs to look in the mirror.

Just seen the assault on Doku by Dalot on MOTD. That pathetic, spineless VAR decision gives every professional player carte blanche to clog opponents at will provided they are within a yard of the ball.

Think that's a fair assessment. We've got lots of talented lads but not many you'd want in the trenches. Doku, Phil, Erling are all very lightweight.
Our last two performances at OT have been embarrassing beyond belief. On a ground we have a great record under Pep and zero reason to go all nervous nelly and not compete

The importance of Walker is starting to come to fruition now.
It's not only the importance of Walker but the utter stupidity of not replacing him immediately with an out and out right back. Nunez cost us loads of points last season getting used to the role and he's still prone to the odd error due to being played out of position.

so we got beat but we've got off again with the Arse draw - still only 7 points
Your name is very appropriate, you’ve clearly been at the disco and had one too many disco biscuits. Arsenal could lose another 10 at this rate and still pull away from us. Make no mistake we are in a top 4 battle at best.

I would seriously look at our medical/conditioning team. Just seems odd that we get so many injuries 2 seasons in a row
Medical team seem fairly useless but the lack of rest for several summers hasn't helped, nor has going balls-deep in so many cup competitions. - And the ridiculous amount of international football.

Yes. I still believe that he should have left after we won the CL. He's stale and his tactical / selection decisions are frequently open to question.

He had a very bad day at the office today, I accept that

However, he’s managed to get this squad to 2nd in the league, the final of the Caraboe, almost knock out stages of the Champs League and we’ll see about the FA Cup

That isn’t easy with Nunes at right back, no goal scoring wingers and a midfielder at left back

I think he’s done a good job this season
