Haha, like that utd fan holding three fingers up, tough luck. It was only 2-0. Yes, we were lucky, as you say it could have been five or six.
 
We pretty much got everything wrong today.

Pep largely to blame but he can’t kick the ball for them.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a derby where we didn’t look bothered. No fight, tactics were awful…not even sure what they were to be honest, seemed to be route one football and hope Haaland gets on the end of something. We were there for the taking all game…and that’s how it played out.

Since it seems we are only playing for the cups now, and judging by the lineup that’s how pep felt before kickoff, I would like Haaland and Foden to be dropped and given a rest. Hopefully a bit of time on the bench will see an improvement in performances…

Feel sorry for the fans at the game, what an abject performance.

Too true. We faced a Sick Swan there only for the much derided VAR and the Big Italian. Pep was handed his arse burnt on a tray truely and absolutely by a Journeyman manager and we badly need a big response in the weeks ahead.
 
With such a weak defence, why was Bernardo playing attacking midfield, leaving Rodri on his own

The only defender who can take any credit is Khus,, the rest of them were shit.
 
Please, please get a grip on yourself. It's not the end of the world, bigger games coming up in the 3 cup competitions and City have to turn things around quickly with a big game on Tuesday in the Champions League

We deserved to lose that game. Our players took to the pitch and they were either unprepared or not arsed and I honestly couldn't tell you which it was. Only Donnarumma looked up for it, the rest didn't. They started as slow as possible and looked fucking shocked when they pressed us and wanted to win the ball. Every second ball was won by them. If that had finished 5-0, I'd still have no complaints.

Our defence was a mess and was given no protection by the 'midfield' in front of them. The midfield was type we've seen a lot of these last 18 months - slow, ponderous, no effort - nothing. Foden, Doku, Semenyo did nothing. Rodri just tried to find space and safe passes. Bernardo tried a bit more but he's past it and shouldn't be playing.

They looked like that they had about 14 players on the pitch the running they did, we looked like we had 8. Haaland was completely anonymous partly due to the 'service' he got, but again he wasn't arsed either.

Set pieces - they were especially bad today. For our corners, you could've picked a guy out from the crowd to take them. Our corners were a liability for US!! How the fuck does that happen?!

I don't know what Pep was thinking but did he really think United, at home with a new manager would be happy to go for a slow, tactical game? Was it fuck going to be like that. We were garbage, probably the worst I've seen us play for a long time and ANOTHER gutless performance against them. I am absolutely convinced Pep put the living shits up our players before they went on the pitch. How can Alleyne and Khusanov at least have some fucking energy?? They've barely played! Lewis isn't good enough I'm afraid and Ake is finished. If there's no better full backs in our reserves, sell the lot.

Honestly, why can 19 teams in this league play with energy and we look cooked from the first game in the season and rack up injuries every week? It's getting to a point now where I think we're either very unlucky as no other team seems to have the same issue as us, or there's something up with the way we're playing. The back 4 was picked to some extent due to injuries but Guehi won't fix that. No fucker can - the players put fuck all effort in today and thought they would win.

I'm off out now with my red mates who went to the game. It's going to be a loooong fucking night.
