United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Aside from the obvious red that should have been given... and if it were not sure the team we fielded would have even gotten a draw.... That was shocking.

I don't put alot of stock in calling the season in January but the engravers might as well get a jump start maybe Arse will get a discount.

Defense was poor from Lewis to Ake and in between with Khus barely a bright spot and if he shone at all it was because everyone around him were so poor.

Rodri did what he could as a one man midfield.

Haaland was as he has been of late- invisible and leaving me wondering would we really do any worse if we just rested him.

Too much to do in life to bother with the rest of the player reviews. Prolly need to take a few weeks off from here as the negativity will be more than I'm up for.

Sometimes you just know when you see the teams line up in the tunnel that you’ve not turned up. Today was a perfect example.

Although even after seeing that I wasn’t expecting it to be as bad as it was. Really should’ve been 6 nil.

Poor performance ect. ,even worse and more telling was the non red card decision. Not for the result ,but clear and obvious how badly we have been reffed,.Taylor showing up what a weak man he is.
They would have had to disrupt their attack to replace the red card. It could have made a huge difference

Enough with this shit false LB and RB positions. And for the love of god, get some energy and legs into the midfield. Its so bad now Casemiro or Mainoo would make a difference to us

If Rico starts in the bigger games or PL we seem to loose. It seems to effect everyone else in their own game and we never start.

I would like to see the stats on the games Rico has started and in and the defeats he's been involved in but I don't know where I can find this info

This been saying it for months. He’s ALWAYS amongst these performances. It can’t be a coincidence.

Not only the derby, this is the worst performance since Mancini came in, the level of cluelessness (is it a word?) have been astonishing. There were always some shortcomings here, injury there, games lost or drawn because of refs influences, tactical mistakes, but to play the whole 90+ minutes lik3 a relegation fodder with no clear plan or attempt to improve, change or rejig the formation, effort, FECKING anything!!!!!!!!

I've said some time ago, this team looks going nowhere and Pep won't be winning anything. And then the whole set of circumstances that placed so high up the table and January transfers, and reading some giddy posts here, caught me in this preposterous optimism.

But this is the new one, even for me where head always prevails over heart. I am actually properly disturbed, this is definitely not "caught on a bad day" only. It is not even 3pm, is too early for double Old fashioned which I am going to fix for myself! Fecking hell!!!!!!!!!!
Well said. I've snapped at my best mate (who's a red, whereas we've never let football get in the way.) Peps shite has driven me to this! I'm having a 3rd beer..I'm not as crazy as you!

Ruined my weekend that.
What a shit show from start to finish. We didn't look prepared for that game at all. In what universe is starting two of our slowest players as fullbacks against a side that plays quickly on the break a good idea?
Once again the midfield was non existent and we never looked like scoring. Haaland is now like Samson in reverse, as his hair has gotten longer he has become weaker and weaker.
We were easily out fought, they clearly wanted he three points more than we did.
Our attack consisted of side to side and 8 passes later back to Donnaruma.
Oh and before I forget it was a red card but even playing against 10 they would have won.
Wrong team, wrong tactics (whatever they were) and little creativity or fight.
Can you forward this to Pep?

Even against 10 men today, i doubt we would have won.
I think that was the worse performance i've seen.
Basically everything was missing...
Oh god no. Worst performance in a long time but there has been worse.

He’s scored quite a lot of goals in derbies until today. He is not getting the service.

Yeah but United are dogshit. They played as well as they can today but it was more down to the fact that we were abysmal. We often don't play to his strengths but my God is he limited.

How the f*** are we second in the best league in the world.
Bad day today but IMHO THIS is when fans need to get behind the team. Not ridicule & berate every player.
However, you must deal with it as you will
its not about today - i can take that defeat as I knew it was coming as soon as i saw the team sheets....utd set up to dominate a midfield where our answer was rico lewis stepping into it from our back line leaving our back line totally exposed (as happens every time he plays)

we are second in the league as the league is pretty woeful this year....you could ask how are the rags who have been shit all season 4th? - you get the same answer

Where is Erling, anybody seen him lately?
He was and has been atrocious recently but he had to start.
His record in the derby says so.
Him and Foden have been dreadful recently.
Foden needs dropping and so does Haaland if Marmoush is back.

Absolutely awful

Lack of fight and desire

Loads of the players in this side should be ashamed of that performance

Thank god for Donnarumma cause he kept that scoreline down

Sorry to swear but my fucking god City it's a derby and you couldn't apply yourselves or bring yourself up for this

Disappointed beyond belief
