United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

When is Haaland going to score again from open play?

When we drop Phil and get a real creative player like Cherki playing behind him and let them build a relationship

Haalans got into the game more when Phil went off but we were already in a rut.

I don't worry about Haaland, he'll be back on form soon.

Bet you pep comes out and says how well we played etc etc, hes turning into wenger, won't adjust, that was totally unacceptable, we got battered in every department, dont mind getting beat but that was a joke of a performance
I doubt it, but if he does then I`ll be gobsmacked as I can`t see him saying anything positive today apart from the Italian Giant.

Was frustrated at the time that more wasn’t made of that Dalot challenge on Doku. Definite Red it’s embarrassing. But with how the game panned out we’d probably still have lost if they had 10. One of if not the worst performance in the Pep era. In a derby. Shite

Utterly fucking pathetic performance against a shite swamp donkey team . 3 fucking goals disallowed aswell utterly fucking wank . Most of City team played like fucking girls . Only Donnarumma stopped it from being a 6 or 7 nil fucking mauling against the worst swamp dwelling team ever
Fucking shite !!!

That's why United are shit, Play like today only happens once a season against City

Manchester City know bigger and better days happen more than once a season

Why are people scapegoating Foden? He was subbed off at halftime and we were worse in the second half.
I think everyone was buying into him moving into a KdB type role and he just hasn't got it in him.

Relative neutral here, but I don't like United!
Dalot should have walked on 11, end of, that would have changed the complexion of the game!
Why City's wingers didn't take on Dalot and Shaw (I think) was baffling.
Far too cautious and too many square passes, passes back, City didn't commit the United defence in any way at all!
To conceed from a free kick in an attacking position, 1st goal, was schoolboy stuff!

The argument that a match "should have been 6-0" if the goalkeeper hadn't performed well is a reductio ad absurdum fallacy. It isolates one player's successful execution of their role while ignoring the failures of others to execute theirs.
