Right squad typin error,end of day we had right players to deal with them,poor management,poor tactics,absolutely fuckin shit performance,end of story,im embarrassed by it

How could we have had the right players when 6 first team players are missing??

We gave up 6 big chances. We also had both their fullbacks on yellows in the first half and generated nothing - I don't blame the wingers too much for that, as they were frequently outnumbered due to our FBs/system.

I thought I watched all the match. Where were those seven shots by City? One header, I remember that is all.

no issue with that tbf, having been to the swamp many a time and always stayed to the end win or lose, today was our most embarrasing defeat to them even.
surpassing the 5-0.

I completely understand why many wanted to be away

The 5-0 was horrific. I was back in cheadle hulme before full time. But then we were just a really shite side.

Alleynes performance v Brighton was over rated I thought, Khusanov carried him. He was good v Newcastle I’ll give him that but really struggled today
Ake is done
Lewis is a useful squad player for dead rubber games or easy matches, but isn’t really good enough

That said, I thought we’d have more spark in attack. We were so slow and flat.

The decision not to send off Dalot was disgraceful
These VAR officials haven’t got a clue and aren’t consistent across the board makin it up as they go along

Reminded me of the Henderson incident in FA cup final
Seems if it’s early in a game and city r involved the rules aren’t applied

How can every single person watching see that that’s a red apart from the 2 men in the VAR room??

Honestly think that PiGMOL have knocked the fight out of us this season. We started reasonably brightly but then that challenge after 10mins and we knew we were up against it again today. Disgraceful performance after that though with only The Don doing his best to keep the score down.

It was 100% a red card, but prob did us a favour because that spineless display by a bunch of cowards would’ve ended up with a defeat off 10 men

So now the shock of it is over, we are not quite as far a part squad wise as we like to think. And ultimately we played a makeshift defence who had never played together and have played a lot of football in the last three weeks. No excuses, but we were second best all over the pitch.

League is over (and has been for ages if we are honest with ourselves). A domestic cup would be nice. Much more positive than last season.

Is it in Haaland's contract he has to play every game?

Marmoush is back tomorrow and Haaland needs to be benched for at least the next 3 games

He had about 5 or 6 occasions in the 1st half to go at Dalot but slowed it all down and passed back to Ake.
The once occasion he had the chance to shoot he delayed and got closed down by Casimero

Spoke to a Rag I know in work (decent lad) and he said the feeling for him and his mates was that City weren't up for it.
