The most embarrassing about this game iss this thread. This was a boring game both defensese played well. Both team had CL game midweek it happened christ a draw at Old Trafford and it is the end iw the world as we know it.

Mate, Bernardo has been shit in City for the time-period longer than it takes for a baby to be conceived, born and learn to walk. And Laporte follows the same curve as Mendy after injury, a shadow of the player he was and that shithousery against Spuds was just a very good excuse for Pep to go with Stones.
 
Only saw the first half and that was enough, I didn’t want Pep to commit us forward why should we get hurt in the break but I also didn’t want the inverted wingers AGAIN. Let’s get people back out on the touch line making space through the middle and stop coming inside crowding us out. Torres, Foden and Bernardo now need to start to get a run of games and we have no mojo up front. We seem to have sorted the back, although United seem to target Cancelo as the danger on the left from what I saw they doubled up in him a lot. Mahrez and Sterling both should’ve scored first half for me, we need a natural goal scorer and quickly. Didn’t see the second half so can’t comment.

It was a shit game, but the reaction on here is considerably over the top (not unusually).

Ive calmed down a bit and looking back at the game, once again Pep has been let down by shit finishing. Pep can't stick the ball in the net for them, defensively we look stronger and Pep seems to have resolved some other issues we had. He was a lot more passive today and the prime aim was to not lose but we created two good chances and we missed both. Score tehm and we are wanking ourselves over a Pep masterclass.

Fully agree. Thought about it the same.

Peps system worked and the forwards didnt take the chances.
 
peps obsession with mahrez makes me ill......

and sadly we’re stuck with mahrez for awhile so bad times ahead.. (sick emoji)

Because we dare to say it like it is matey. Us as fans have zero input on team tactics, team selection etc... Our only input is on what we see played out in front of us. And if that today was a team with aspirations of winning the league then I'm sorry but it was well short of what is required.
 
strange game it was clear from beginning they targeted Cancelo once that failed they stuck and we didnt take advantage but a point is a point
Stones played well again pleased for the lad

You’re not wrong. It was all so predictable. I sat there saying he should hook Raz for Foden or one of Rodders/Dinho for Bernie etc but knew full well that there was no point getting worked up about it as it was never going to happen.

utd had fuck all to worry about? if they had something to worry about though it doesn’t necessarily mean we would have won they may have had loads to worry about for 90 mins but left the game 3 nill up. Which is exactly what they set up for.

On this occasion Pep didn’t give them what they expected and I believe got this right. Bar the offiside penalty call we never looked remotely close conceding but created a few chances.. if one goes in.. fantastic.. we win if not? Then we are drawing that game.. that game was 65% draw, 25% city win and 10% utd win. It was controlled. It was a decent disciplined performance given the context of the league
