United (A) | Post Match Thread

Can someone jog my memory:

The linesmen only put his flag up for United’s equaliser after the ball was in the back of net, correct?

But there were numerous occasions that Phil was marginally flagged offside immediately, stopping play, correct?
Said the same myself earlier, and you'll see it in every game this season.

Iniesta, listen,

They weren’t in the game. They had no viable attempts until their offside goal. I watched it more comfortably than ever! They are shite! And I mean poor!

They needed a life line, they got it.

No surprises there.

You could almost put money on it before hand it’s that regular,

I hate it when city lose of course. But watching them lose to decisions out of their control makes me laugh.

It’s the only way some people know how to win. To cheat and claim that they are winners. It’s a losers mentality and always will be.
They are average you will get no argument from me about that. They also got a joke decision, and the ref was clearly on their side. I just don't agree with you that we dominated them. How can you dominate a team and have just one effort on target in the best part of 100 mins. If domination is keeping possession miles from the opposition goal and creating next to fuck all then I'd agree.

Exactly.

There was no reason for the Lino to not flag immediately seeing as Rashford was so far offside.

Bent.

So are we in agreement finally ,that football in the uk at the highest level is corrupt ? cos i can live with the loss if today is a turning point with the fans finally seeing how football is manipulated in this country, and perhaps something happening about it. My fear is that nothing will happen though .

Of course nothing will happen

I mentioned boxing in the other thread about this topic, The reason judges can get away with robbery decisions is because they’re not held accountable. You’re not even allowed to interview them, and they just get protected by the boxing board of control. Same with ref’s and the FA.

I think if officials in sport have to come out and be interviewed after the game and be grilled about decisions they made, it might be a different story

But nothing will ever change, because all that happens is fans complain for a few days, and then it’s onto the next one and they know that and that’s why they can get away with it.
