Was enjoying todays game we were in control till the gift! If you think we can go to away games and just win easily that ain’t happening you have to keep the ball control the game or you will be beat! If you push to hard against a team who are determined to not have a go you in the end give away umpteen chances on the break!
In control?

Didn't Rashford miss a 1 on 1 and also have a shot cleared off the line?

We seem to struggle to understand that passing a ball around boring the life out of every person watching the game won't be enough to get us a win.

Allowing the 'offside' goal to stand today has set a precedent. A tactical game changer; in that an offside player can continue to follow the through ball, shepherd it without touching it, a team mate then follows up to stroke the ball into the net or even pass to another team mate to maintain possession, supposedly legitimately.
The offside rule has now had a big red bus driven through and over it.
No. It will still be offside for every other team in the league. Like a Rashford offside goal earlier in the season was given a larger tolerance. Never heard of before or since.

Like Michael Owens winner in the 4-3 in added on added on time. Which was justified by claiming that goals scored in injury time (Belamy) adds on another minute and that subs in injury time add on 30 seconds each. Never heard of before or since.

Haaland was making runs today our lads chose not to pass. the Way we’re playing at the minute is just to keep the ball we’re terrified of losing it and facing a counter. I remember the all or nothing documentary where at half time pep tells the lads we have to play football with courage. We need to get back to that
he needs to manage with courage

Our style of play has got us quite a few.wins in recent years.

It hasn't changed, but the quality of our play has been poor in the last month.

Those the only chances they had to the gift! Come on you not going to go to any away game and give zero chances you reduce the chances when you have 70%+ possession! We play quicker hit the long ball cross the ball you lose it and the break is on so that half often enough the opposition will get loads of clear cut on the break chances!

We had a great half dozen years but I feel we are in a transition with the way we playing let’s wait to see if pep sorts it hey? Don’t you think he deserves that?

I’ve just looked at the highlight. In the second goal, the ball went forwards to Rashford not backwards. Why was that not looked at? Does offside not count at OT? Therefore, quite possibly two goals, not one, that may not have stood?
I've just watched that too, frame by frame Rashford's a yard offside.
Absolutely ridiculous

Seven hours after the final whistle and six and a half hours after leaving the crumbling cesspit I'm still pissed off. Even a longish drive listening to Liverpool getting shafted hasn't cheered me up.
I accept bent refereeing probably cost us the points but you can't blame Atwell for us only having one attempt on target. Brentford put four past them, Brighton two, Villa three, yet we managed just one attempt. Where was the team that put six past them just three months ago?
Something is wrong on the good ship MCFC and no fucker at the club seems to have a clue how to cure it.
