Akanji has done exactly what he should. Lured rashford into the offside trap, it worked perfectly. No issue on Akanji. Other than a ludicrous interpretation by some corrupt officials.

Agree, if rashford isn’t interfering in play Ederson comes out and clears the ball.

Agree entirely, the defence did entirely the right thing, were organised and executed the offside trap. As a result we didn’t then attack the ball as it was clear Rashford was shielding the ball, his feet at times were mm from touching the ball. Under no circumstance should that goal stand. Outrageous.

We are objectively worse than last season and i'll give you a second to figure out the only significant change between last season and this one.

We were struggling similarly last season and all wanted a clear 9 to finally solve the problem of not being clinical in matches with few chances

Ederson is not impeded....Rashford does not stop Ederson moving towards the ball (which is what it says)

Yes I agree as Ive said numours times....Rashford affected the decision making of Akanji and Walker.....but he did nothing to physically stop them playing the ball and thats what the law implies.....

The defending for both goals was atrocious.

In fact, apart from the few minutes leading up to our goal, we were appalling. The passing was off, the defending wasn’t much better.

It has to be said that Atwell was very poor, but we’ve come to expect that, as it happens in most of our games.

Now, there’s a real danger that those bastards will finish above us; something a whole generation of kids have never seen.

What are you talking about the defending for both goals was ridiculous? Absolutely nowt wrong with the first.. stepped up to play Rashford a few metres offside (which was given) yet played to the whistle (which you should).
