Of course it does.
Our defenders had to account for Rashfords run, therefore he drew defenders to him. He interfered with play.
We got what we deserved out of that performance, it was clear after 20 minutes that despite the rags having much less possession they were getting more attempts on goal than us. Therefore their game plan was working ours wasn't. If Rashford drew defenders to him surely one of them should have prevented him getting a boot on the ball. If they had left him alone to focus on the offside attacker we would have cause for complaint.

Games like these happen, nothing to worry about...

It's always difficult after back2back titles and marathons.. Just look at Liverpool, such a mess, we are still on the second place and fighting for the title..

P.S As long as KDB-Haaland duo will play during the next years, we need someone like Rodri to balance the load..
Ideally, Phillips should have been that guy in our new 4-2-4 system, but he is peace of shite right now, so either he improves or Pep needs to find new solution on that position, considering Bernardo leaves..

Bellingham maybe ? I don't know.. haven't watched that many games of him, but hopefully club will do the job as always...

So on reflection, one of the things that was most worrying was that after we scored we couldn't control the game at all - it all became very chaotic, and looked very like the Southampton match all over again.

That's my main worry this season, among many others. Our passing and controlling of games has gone from superb to bang average. Remember when we went to the swamp and beat them 2-0 in a vital game and Pep said we kept the ball in the fridge? Where has that team gone? In the past we'd go 1-0 up, keep the ball, tire teams out and then hit them on the break as they became desperate. Now even when we go 1-0 up you just know we're going to concede.

Still infuriated by that first goal today. He’s so obviously interfering it’s unbelievable.

Linesman has flagged for Rashford, explained that to the referee and VAR haven’t bothered to check it further and follow the law of the game. Absolute bollocks and corruption.

They don’t get that second one if they don’t get the first.

Incompetent wankers.

This is Peps first season all over expect without the excitement of tiki taka football.

A team is gonna win the league that we weren't expecting. We're going to finish 3rd and get knocked out of the champions league possibly in the next round.
FFS get a fucking grip, is this your first season of supporting City?

Klopp is a **** but a fantastic manager. Currently his Dipper side are getting battered by Brighton and are 8th.
The same side was close to a quad last season.
Perspective
I dont give 2 fucks what klopp or Liverpool do, I care what city do, so what perspective is there? Because they are having a shit season then it's ok for us to be playing poorly?

Used to be you were offside if you were in an offside position and you were interfering with play. Seems entirely reasonable and now with the assistance of VAR something that could be, he says optimistically, simply determined. Not sure how Rashford could be deemed as not interfering with play on any level? That poor decision turned the game on its head. We were in control at 1-0 and despite some of the team not at levels we all know they are capable of all I could see was 3 points. Watching the Cult being absolutely stuffed by Brighton there is an apparent changing of the guard going on this season.
Big challenges ahead for Pep in the weeks to come, he hasn't failed to rise to many in past years has he?
