Sadly Sterling never ever turns up for Rags or Liverpool which is why a huge question mark remains with him for me in big games.
His finishing this season has been atrocious.
Personally I wouldn't play him today, he seems to get overawed by the occasions, why I'm not sure.

Sadly Sterling never ever turns up for Rags or Liverpool which is why a huge question mark remains with him for me in big games.
His finishing this season has been atrocious.

He scored against liverpool at Wembley this season and was our best player in the defeat at Anfield as well so the "never turns up vs. Liverpool narrative" is long past its sell by date.

Have you forgotten the CL quarter against spurs last season when you say Sterling doesn't turn up in big games? He would've bagged a hattrick including a 90min winner that would've seen us through, if it wasn't for VAR spotting a slight touch on Bernardo. That was probably our second most important game of last season
He seem to have a mental block against the rags for some reason though. I think he's been decent against Liverpool, goalscoring record aside. Had TAA for lunch a couple of times
