United away - pre-match thread

I'm not convinced about starting both Gundogan and Sane in a derby with no match fitness behind them, maybe start Gundogan to stiffen the midfield but I'd leave Sane on the bench.

FA have decided and we have to live with it now, I don't think Kun went to elbow him, it was a swipe out in a tussle with his hand hitting his throat. That said the FA will see it as an arm raised, end of.

However we have played the most scintillating first half of football against West Ham, went off the boil in the second but then came back stronger in the latter stages of the game and scored. I honestly think we can cope without Kun in this match, we can deploy Nolito who has the movement and intelligence to play that role, or we can put Kelechi on up top straight away allowing both Noito and Sterling to stay out wide creating space for Kelechi to run into, which he can do very well.

Sane for me will be a sub if ready, Gundogan again if ready should be on the bench.

United for me haven't been tested properly yet, and Hull made them scrap for the win and I have been told that in the first half United looked crap. They will probably say that we haven't, but West Ham are a better proposition than a very depleted Hull side that gave them a game.

Our movement will be too much for them, mourinho will set up differently for this one, if they go for it I think we will cut them open, which means they will probably try and play like Leicester and hit on the break. Getting the first goal will obviously make them come out more and we then could see a few more scored. United will probably follow suit as well for the first 20 mins where they try and go for it and nick the first goal, which they have tried on a few occasions against us.

Think we will get this one at their place, might take a punt on Bailly being sent off as well as he looks a little hot headed

I don't think they quite have the players to properly park the bus, certainly not a midfield that's good enough defensively or disciplined for such a role, nor the strikers with Rooney and Ibra pissing off out of position to 'hunt' for the ball disrupting their own lines as much as anything else.

If they go full defense I think we'll get in and cause chaos.

As mad as it sounds, this may cause more space for us without Kun. Overload the midfield, get in behind their attack minded fullbacks and cut back for on rushing midfielders. I'd be inclined to rotate Kev and Silva in the 9 throughout the game and have if Gundogan is fit have him in the 8 or if Vinny is fit then have him in defence and actually push Stones into the pivot and Fernandinho into an 8! We have options anyway, we could just end up having Kelechi there and i would have no worries with that.

Will Gungodon be ready? He's been out far longer than Sane, we need some height in the middle, maybe Fernando can come in if we aren't replacing Aguero with Nacho, and let our midfielders rotate.
Hopefully Stones is ok, as Fellani and Ibra will cause all kinds of problems!
How fit is Vinny? Maybe a 3 at the back to deal with Utd's aerial threat.
As long as he's ready, would love to see him back for the derby, no one loves a derby more than Vinny!

Little bit worried about Wimbledon's, sorry united's, inswinging corners with at least four massive monsters attacking them, but hopefully said corners will be in very short supply as they won't be able to get anywhere near our goal anyway, as our cunning 4-6-0 formation runs rings round the big clogging buggers

They'll have a threat in the air.

Maureen will know exactly how we will set up and either he will camp in or press like crazy. When he pressed with Madrid he was turned over.

But we are not Barcelona yet and I think he will press high and hard. We do though have much better technical players so that could back fire on the twat.

Personally I'd swap Sane for Aguero. That will fuck with his head.

This will be pure football vs thugs. Get it wide and get it in the box. Wankers

Also the rags are not Madrid.lol cannot wait

isn't bog brush head out for this one? Sure I saw Boreinho say that the other day....would be a result if so.

Will be very interesting to see how we line up, I would go with

-------------------Bravo
----Zabaleta---Stones--Ota--Clichy
------------Gundogan--Fernandinho--
---------------------Silva
-----Sterling-------KDB-----------Nolito

Sterling and Nolito Wide and high up the pitch, KDB False 9, drag them all over the pitch and Sane on For Nolito just when they are getting tired

In the past if we lost Aguero for a game id be shitting it, but it doesn't really bother me this time round. I think we are stronger than them. 3-1 to us. Nacho to score twice and Nolito with one

Do you know I think it's strange that considering bog brush is such a shit player why don't we like him playing against us. Someone once told me he was difficult to play against because he's unconventional. He's not, he's just a shit footballer that runs around like a fuckng buffoon assaulting decent players. Out of all the rags I hate he's right up there in the top ten. Cut that mop off his head and we would call him drain rod, only fit for mixes with turds. I don't like him.
