SlySports stats deliberately less detailed when it suits them, you'd almost think Bailly was anywhere near comparable to Stones in buildup play with those stats right?
What if they told you the total along with those percentages as any good comparison should and probably would have done if it supported their bias?

Lets add some stats which they omitted from whoscored.com:
Eric Bailly: Minutes Played - 270, Total Passes - 37, with a 95% Pass Accuracy.
John Stones: Minutes Played - 239, Total Passes - 157, with a 92% Pass Accuracy.

With the greatest respect, who cares. Like Buzzer said, fuck stats. They tell only 1% of the story. What we all know is we're a better side than them and that's all the matters. CTID.

I would like to see.

------------------------------------------------------Bravo--------------------------------------------------
Sagna------------------------Stones-----------------------------------Otomendi----------------Clichy
------------------------------------------Fernandino-----------Gundongan------------------------------
Sterling-------------------DeBrynne--------------------------------Silva-------------------------Nolito

Swamp them in midfield and give their centre halves nobody to mark, any of the front 6 could provide goals for us.

Another option i like is this, in fact the more i look at it the better it looks.
------------------------------------------------------Bravo--------------------------------------------------
Sagna------------------------Stones-----------------------------------Kolarov-------------------Clichy
-----------------------------DeBrynne----------Fernandino-----------Silva-----------------------------
Sterling---------------------------------------------Sane-------------------------------------------Nolito

Judging by the diving that was going on when the rags played Hull they will be looking to draw fouls in dangerous positions all game long and Clattenburg will keen to oblige them.

Yes but it was still worth pointing out if that stat surprised anyone, Stones has less minutes and played over 4x as many passes as this guy over the course of the first 3 games... which is not much game time to begin with to make any comparisons but they should at least get the facts across properly, it was misleading.

Will a gif do. Never tire of this :)

Love it.

Few beers, just got to say, god I hope we play to our potential and turn them over at the swamp

Agree totally. They will be going down with ease they get near to our box you can guarantee that. They will be looking to get the first goal, or any goal from a set piece for the lanky ego swede or bog brush.

We need to be savvy with our fluid movement and passing ability in tight places, draw them in and get the fouls. Bailly for me is clumsy and liable for a flux of fouls. Fellini is a dirty bastard and could see red.

Think we can be prepared for how they are going to play this one, their defence however will have to be lighting quick and on their toes to handle our movement. We also have great crossing ability with KDB.

Two teams going head to head with 2 totally contrasting styles of play.

We should all sign up to twitter and bookmark the slysports account for this game with a keen eye on Fellani and Ibra, moan and make a fuss till they have to address any incidents, that's probably what happened with the Aguero incident which was already seen by the ref. A win for us and a retrospective ban for Ibra would have a real golddust element about it for me.

If you think back to when we played Bayern at home in Pelle,s first season, PEP set Bayern up with no No 9, he had six in midfield all fluid with Muller being the most attacking.
I can see him doing that again on Saturday with Silva playing the Muller role.

The question being wether he thinks Gundogan is fit enough to play where Ferd has been playing and Ferd pushing forward with the press.

Silva is a ball player - he is not ideal for that role. He is best with the ball - not without. Müller's role - particulary in matches like the one you named - is to move around the defenders and create the space - and be there in special moments. Silva is wasted in that role. Has somebody of you seen the match from Germany against Norway this Sunday? Germany played with Götze on the 9 - he was wasted there (seems to be off form, too) but with him occupying the defenders it gave the other three offensives chances. The reason why Löw does not like playing Müller on the 9 is that he is best when he is played behind a striker (even a makeshift one) - and as his actions seem to be atleast always the winning guarantee whenever the competition is not called EUROs he is right with it. It paid out Sunday, too - Müller had 2 goals and an assist in the 3:0.

Why I tell you that - Silva is in a great form. He is best behind an attacker. He should not be wasted elsewhere.

I don't even think of entertainment when we're playing them. I'd rather we won 1-0 in the most boring game of football since England last played than lose 4-3 in the most exciting, attacking brand of football ever to grace a football pitch.

Can't watch it on telly as it's just torture. Going to the game is different for me, that's in some way different - I love the atmosphere and shouting and swearing obscenities at those cunts.

Each to their own I suppose.

you're possibly going to miss out on seeing something special though, brother.

face up to your demons and watch the damned thing, i'd say.
