United disadvantaged due to bias!

The whole suggestion thats some kind of massive conspiracy where the Premier League makes sure United win the title every season, otherwise some idiots in Thailand will start crying and support Barcelona instead, is absolute nonsense.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Extra competition from the likes of City, is very healthy for the Premier League. Why would they want to stop it? United winning the League every season would be very harmful to it.

Extra competition drives up Premier League deal

Fact number one - The Premier League has a product it needs to market.
Fact number two - The rags have an enormous Asian and far eastern fan base
Fact number three - The Premier League need the rags to be competing for the title so it's easier to market their product

Conclusion - The PL will do everything possible to keep the rags competitive, hence dubious refereeing decisions

you missed out the bit about the company that has had all/ the majority of the tv rights being in business with manyoo

The same company which got most TV packages in a "fair" bidding process.

The figures quoted in that article are incredible. A billion pounds a year to be divided amongst the clubs for domestic rights alone.... Bet we still won't see ticket prices fall tho...

[Yes, United do much more often than not, get the decisions. I would say thats more down to Ferguson's intimidation of officials, plus having over 70,000 fans at OT on the referee's back. The whole suggestion thats some kind of massive conspiracy where the Premier League makes sure United win the title every season, otherwise some idiots in Thailand will start crying and support Barcelona instead, is absolute nonsense.

Spot on, this. We'll probably find a few more 40/60s going our way next season.
