Brilliant news if true. We don't help the rag paupers with their debt, and their club is self-imploding with players, management, owners and fans at each other's throats, a hilarious bonfire of the vanities. They are saddled with an out of form player who is no longer trusted by his team mates or the support. He could only feel contempt for a fan base which turns up at his family home to try and threaten his life. To placate him, the club may have to spend money they don't have on new players, increasing the debt and exacerbating their dismal financial prognosis.

Rooney signs new 5 year contract.

The contract must be improved on his last, somewhere in the region of 80k per week wich results in more money leaving the club per year.

Total - 4.15M extra a year.

if they think rooney isn,t leaving just because he has signed a new contract they are deluded,he may not leave in january but he will be gone in the summer? i mean would you stay through the threat to your family?
 
Well, well, well, all of a sudden everything is rosy in the Rooney/Ferguson camp and a lovely new 5 year deal is signed and the ink is drying very nicely indeed and the evil empire can now breathe a huge sigh of relief now that the potato headed one has decided to stay at the Theatre of Mounting Debt..... little Johnny from London can now look forward to his christmas present of a new 'Nited shirt with Shrek's name and number on it, as too can little Muhammed from the streets of Mumbai who can now have his Wooney poster on his bedroom wall, as too can little Yoshi from downtown Hiroshima who doesn't need to worry that his idol still plays for Nited on FIFA 11 and not forgetting dear 75 year old Suk Yo Kok, the little grandma from good old Bangkok, Thailand who can now get ready to "please" the special one when he visits her on Nited's end of season tour of the far east.

Just remember all you United fans who are now dancing in the street with joy that your talisman is staying that he has held your club to ransom once, he will do it again that is for sure as he and his agent will be holding their collective hands out again next summer if all does not go to plan and of course panic will set in the streets of Stretford again. Just don't use City's name to get what you want next time, we don't need him nor do we want him.
 
Ridiculous thing for anyone to do. Doing this to someone that was God in rags eyes only a few days ago!!!! Fickle. I bet they feel stupid now, rooney back to being a God again so soon. Perfect example of how fickle (some) rags are.
