Great debut for Donnaruma as well. Foden and Doku added much needed creativity.

Hopefully the penny has dropped and Pep has now realised we look a really competent counter attacking team. Almost Atletico Madrid like or Inter Milan.

Rodri defensively excellent but miles off it on his passing, so that’s still to come. Nico G wasn’t great in adapting to pace of game when he came on.

Haaland, Foden, Doku, Josko, Khusanov, Nico and Dias all brilliant. Bernardo ran his feet off again.

You can never fault Bernie for effort - but it’s clear his powers have faded. Rodri just rusty. But a fucking good day !!!!

Statement win imo…..really wanted to see something different from Pep today and that absolutely fitted the bill !! If we’d have won by playing the same old way at the same old pace I’d have felt otherwise….

Haaland was unplayable…Phil was majestic, Khusanov implacable…..Donnarumma unbeatable!!

Having someone in goal who you have loads of confidence in can be hugely moral boosting for the defence….hope to see us build on this now
