Just what the doctor ordered

I wanted a result over a performance but we got a bit of both,
Something to take forward with and work on, the work rate was better and players wanted it, Haaland was outstanding today both up and down the pitch, even defending and then could have had 4 or 5 goals, but the work rate today needs to be there for the rest of the season and lead from the front,

The full-back roles that the cover players are being asked to play by Pep are still very much a weakness; better teams and wingers will hurt us big time and will cost us in the long run

I was 100% wrong on Donnarumma playing today. I thought it could cost us today playing him, but in fact that save no other keeper get a touch and turns it around the post
 
Not getting carried away given the game next weekend, but that felt fucking fantastic

Thought we defended brilliantly and looked dangerous every time we got the ball forward

Been saying that about Khusanov since we signed him while all the doomsday brigade kept insisting we still need another RB. He'll be an immense player for us. Go and watch his back history...

We've still only got 70 mins in us though. I thought this gifted united a number of very decent chances after 70 mins and they had too many big spaces to move into in our half. Onwards.

An 8/10 performance for me. People will be blinded by the fact that we shafted the rags, and get carried away. It was a decent performance, particularly given all the absentees. But it's precisely because it was utd that I've scored it the way I have. Let's be honest; they're shite. Our women's team would give them a good game.

The positive is that we won. Negative is that our control in midfield is abysmal. United are worse than us at least. Not looking forward to ther rest of next week.

Bernardo did a huge amount of work. Rodri is bound to need time but didn't do a lot wrong, passing is off and the same with Reijnders but we gave the ball away an awful lot today so I'm finding it hard to single out anybody in that respect.
