Been saying that about Khusanov since we signed him while all the doomsday brigade kept insisting we still need another RB. He'll be an immense player for us. Go and watch his back history...Genuinely feel like he got massively undersold by people on the basis of what Ederson was capable of. He was made out to be some utter calamity under any kind if press. He looked fantastic.
And I strongly believe in Khusanov as the long term RB.

Good post..the last 20 minutes are so important....Showing lots of good signs in that 90. Haaland was tremendous, and many other players were decent. Doku showed what he has, but I echo many on his player thread in that he needs to show this level more often than not. Donnarumma had a great debut. I think my main player criticism would go to Reijnders who was poor in possession and even poorer in non-possession. Put unnecessary pressure on an unfit Rodri. Anyway he'll get there.
We've still only got 70 mins in us though. I thought this gifted united a number of very decent chances after 70 mins and they had too many big spaces to move into in our half. Onwards.
An 8/10 performance for me. People will be blinded by the fact that we shafted the rags, and get carried away. It was a decent performance, particularly given all the absentees. But it's precisely because it was utd that I've scored it the way I have. Let's be honest; they're shite. Our women's team would give them a good game.Good performance not great, but players fighting for each other again was great to see.
BIg Erl's first goal looked like vintage us again. Foden looked like he enjoyed that, he's the man now and he needs to pick up that KDB torch run with it.

Bernardo did a huge amount of work. Rodri is bound to need time but didn't do a lot wrong, passing is off and the same with Reijnders but we gave the ball away an awful lot today so I'm finding it hard to single out anybody in that respect.Foden, Donnarumma, Doku, Haaland, and KHSUANOV won this game and their back must be broken after carrying Bernie, Rodri, and Reijndeers.
The positive is that we won. Negative is that our control in midfield is abysmal. United are worse than us at least. Not looking forward to ther rest of next week.
