Kovacic very good lately, but still thinks strongest set up is Bernardo closer to Rodri/Stones and Alvarez along Haaland, Foden, KDB

I think having Rodri anchoring midfield, with Stones advancing from the rear and Bernardo dropping from in front, both as needed, gives Rodri the time, space and flexibility to do what he does, which is find the open man wide in midfield or upfront.

Hate these games almost as much as I love them, because I was weaned on getting a pasting from them and then being taunted for weeks. First learned, best remembered.

However, if we play anywhere above 50% as well as we can play and put away 50% of our chances, there is no way even an 80% United can live with us.

That said, now they’ve seen the FA Cup draw, this is their Cup Final and Pep has a habit of trying to outfox himself sometimes!

Let’s just stick to the “Best XI” and play our game and we’ll be fine.

As we have seen, we can play direct with Haaland, if he’s given the space in behind to exploit. We need to exploit it more often.

The only way we don't win this is if it's like the Chelsea game where we missed half a dozen sitters and they score from a break away or set piece they hold on for a win or a draw! One thing for certain we will make enough chances to win by 2/3 clear goals!

The only time I’ve been confident that we would beat this lot was when Mancini was in charge. I wasn’t just confident we would win. I knew for certain we would win. I feel the same about Sundays game. The bookies feel the same. You can get nearly 9/1 for a United win. Unheard of!

Even if they put in a monumentally shite display first half and we’re three nil up, we need to come out same for second half and add more.
We saw from pogba that the Prem is unforgiving if you have your pipe and slippers on.

Still can't get my head around how we lost that match.

I can, watch Atkinson 2nd half, they had a big advantage aerially and he gave them literally everything so they could pump the ball into the box at every opportunity, even my united fan boss text me saying he wished they could have Atkinson every week on that performance.

Anyway, just hoping we put in a good, solid, and professional performance (and Walker staying back to counter Rashfords pace), if we do we’ll beat them by a decent margin imo.
