United (H) Post Match Thread

Its all well and good sticking to your principles like pep does when you have 2 prolific scores like messi and lewandoski to score goals. We dont have that (as good as kun is he does not score at the same rate that messi does) so sometimes he should cut his cloth accordingly.

And I bet Messi doesn't have to put up with shit referees week in and week out!

This was given yet ours against Liverpool ruled out ffs what is this new pundit bullshit just on the edge of offside Neville spouted..

Night night my bloods boiling...

I'm still mooching around chez harri, feeling like I've been kicked in the bollocks. You know, that sickly pain in your guts when the crown jewels have been greeted by shoe leather? Thanks City.

If we weren't so far in front I'd probably be more pissed off with the team. As it is, I find it hard to begrudge them a few bad games.
I'm the same. Have felt much worse after derby losses. It almost doesn't matter because of the smokescreen that it is creating about the rags' inadequacies which will I feel create serious problems for them next year.

As for today, truly shocking reffing from atkinson, same re: finishing from Sterling, shocking behaviour from the rags (to be expected when they are hoping to cling onto a lead - it's their version of game management) and shockingly lax attitude from us early second half.

The fact that a team of such complete and utter dogshite can accidentally score three goals makes me chuckle at the farcical hilarity of it all.

Trying to look on the bright side... Great though it would have been to clinch the title against the rags, the euphoria wouldn't have lasted long before the let down of likely getting knocked out of the CL on Tuesday. The rags would have been laughing at us by mid week even if they'd been pissed off tonight. So in some ways, when (not if) we win the title against Swansea or West Ham, it will be a better way to cap a phenomenal season off.

That said I'm devastated we couldn't even get a draw.

He slipped and was trying to get his head on it. You expecting him in this time frame to try and move his arm while he’s lying on the ground sticking his head out. He not bloody Neo from the matrix mate. Give it up we ain’t getting the decision back. The rules need changing. To what I don’t know.
Compare that to balotelli slipping and falling against Spurs.

Somehow we all knew that he intended to stamp on Parker for no reason (it wasn't a rough match, there was no bad blood between the players) and there was no way he hadn't just lost his balance.

And yet, it is just chance that today Young'outstretched arm was exactly in the right place to divert the ball away from Sterling

Specifically on the events of this week...

We need someone who can physically dominate the midfield, we need an extra forward who can hold the ball up...

And finally, much as I love the guy, Vinny has to be 4th choice CH next season.

Thought otamendi was worse today. Against pool I would play walker stones Laporte Delph

For me we have won the same as Pelligrini ? Nothing more nothing less.

It is an interesting point, that for all the wonderful play and looking dominant we end up struggling at the end just like Pelligrini's team. Certainly enjoyed this season a lot more but this week will leave a cloud over it.
