United (H) Post Match Thread

Did the fans boo Guardiola at the end or is that some made up bullshit from Danny Mills and whatever shit TV station he's working for?

It wasn't just a one off derby match though, it was the derby match to win the league!! It meant so much more but it didn't to Pep.

The only thing Pep got wrong today was not making the changes sooner. The team he put out was good enough to win as the first half showed. Sterling puts away his chances and we wouldn't be having this conversation now. Same with Atkinson, if he'd just done his job properly.

Ok my last comment on the matter. IMO Young wasn't out of control, and I dont think he took out a player who was in control of the ball. So I dont think it was a penalty. We will have to agree to disagree but please none of the "Rag" crap or "fool" just because we disagree, I just find that a bit daft tbh. Im not calling anyone for having a different opinion, I just didnt see it in the same way you did. End of really.

I didn’t call you a rag I’m not that mean. If you are travelling at that speed with your studs up by definition you are out of control. It’s the exact type of challenge that the authorities wish to stop. In this era you don’t slide in with studs up because it’s reckless and can cause serious injury. This is not new. If you are saying his studs weren’t up and he wasn’t sliding in at speed that is an opinion. Just not one based on the events we can see on the replays.

Ashley Young made that challenge with impunity after he realised the referee was never going to book him as long as he had a hole in his arse.

The reason Fern and Ota went mental was because they knew exactly what was going on with the officiating

It’s a leg breaker for sure and doesn’t belong in the game

Does todays result, now mean Liverpool will have to play Utd for the 'we beat City' Cup - I really hope they have nothing else this season

I have much more of an issue with the rugby tackle on Sterling which whilst it wouldnt have been a penalty was more of an assault and certainly gave an indication that we get bugger all from him anyway.

Yes, thats true, but maybe thats the difference between winning and losing at the top level.

I don't see how a club can succeed without absolute commitment form the entire group and that includes the manager, how can that happen if the guy doesn't fully commit to the club and the support?

Look at where the long term success has happened...
Ferguson, Henkyes, Paisly, Shankly, Clough etc Us in the 60's under Joe Mercer...

Its all in or we just become Chelsea...

I agree that Mancini was the one that fully committed to us. 2 years in Pep's looking like he's managing a career project.

Sorry if I'm sounding over negative, but I think we've seen this week where the cracks are, its the last 1 or 2% between being very very good, and becoming a dominant force...

I’ve come back from that kick in the balls, clicked on this thread and found the first post is some fucking clown hankering for fucking Mancini?!?!?

For fucks sake. You ignorant prick.
