Did the fans boo Guardiola at the end or is that some made up bullshit from Danny Mills and whatever shit TV station he's working for?
That's the point I've been trying to make but you've put it better.
No way would Pep have dropped his best players for game he could win the league with against Madrid.
It wasn't just a one off derby match though, it was the derby match to win the league!! It meant so much more but it didn't to Pep.
Ok my last comment on the matter. IMO Young wasn't out of control, and I dont think he took out a player who was in control of the ball. So I dont think it was a penalty. We will have to agree to disagree but please none of the "Rag" crap or "fool" just because we disagree, I just find that a bit daft tbh. Im not calling anyone for having a different opinion, I just didnt see it in the same way you did. End of really.
Ashley Young made that challenge with impunity after he realised the referee was never going to book him as long as he had a hole in his arse.
The reason Fern and Ota went mental was because they knew exactly what was going on with the officiating
I didn’t call you a rag I’m not that mean. If you are travelling at that speed with your studs up by definition you are out of control. It’s the exact type of challenge that the authorities wish to stop. In this era you don’t slide in with studs up because it’s reckless and can cause serious injury. This is not new. If you are saying his studs weren’t up and he wasn’t sliding in at speed that is an opinion. Just not one based on the events we can see on the replays.
Volume was less than half when the players came out 2nd half.
Yes, thats true, but maybe thats the difference between winning and losing at the top level.
I don't see how a club can succeed without absolute commitment form the entire group and that includes the manager, how can that happen if the guy doesn't fully commit to the club and the support?
Look at where the long term success has happened...
Ferguson, Henkyes, Paisly, Shankly, Clough etc Us in the 60's under Joe Mercer...
Its all in or we just become Chelsea...
I agree that Mancini was the one that fully committed to us. 2 years in Pep's looking like he's managing a career project.
Sorry if I'm sounding over negative, but I think we've seen this week where the cracks are, its the last 1 or 2% between being very very good, and becoming a dominant force...
