United (H) Post Match Thread

Everything you say is 100% accurate.

The problem being is we have all wtnissed near on immaculate football all season which has translated into the rusluts it deserved. We have now not had the immaculate season.... that’s hard to take.
Hard to take getting beat off Utd when you're 2-0 up but still happy with our season and the playing squad we've put together. That squad, and our intentions (we were in for Mahrez) makes me think we'll get better still.

We've played almost the entire season without a left back and yet been so good. What a huge handicap that was. Delph has done well, but he isn't a left back. He dosn't like overlapping for sure.

Shut your noise pal. Seen it all before.
Seriously.. what is wrong with you?

I had the misfortune to be a London blue and watched the game in a pub full of casual reds In Clapham... so not my finalist for evening . I’m just a bit pissed off and understandably so.

Look up my post history of you want it’s pretty sproradic but long standing and usually pretty upbeat about us... as in city... so chill yours beans pal.

Really? Trying to turn around a 0-3 down?

I don't think we had to prioritize the Liverpool game.

Still, we'll find out in 3 days whether it was worth it. My prediction: it wasn't.
My prediction is we wont do it either but we have to try. The league is still there. And we should have won today anyway. Granted I'm also certain we would have won had we started a forward but I don't want City to give up on Champions League even if it is a very long shot.

Sssh. Just sssh. That'll do pig.

Yep my feelings too. Delphi has been great but I think Mendy will have an even greater influence than Walker has

Gutted.

A once in a lifetime opportunity, comparable with the 1-6, and the Sergio's last minute title winner. 2-0 up at half-time. Absolutely battered United. Then once again like Liverpool, X's 2, we fall apart from 20 minutes, and United score 3. Did anyone see that coming?

Obviously Pep and our owners want the CL, but for every City fan to a Man, winning the title against United was just as important. So rather than f*** about with the team because of Tuesday, if Pep had played the first team in the first half, we'd have absolutely murdered United by more than 2 goals, then Pep could have taken the players off in the 2nd half, he ended up bringing on in the end.

Sometimes I don't understand Pep.

If we don't score 4 on Tuesday, and we're knocked out, today will would have been all for nothing.

One more point. Pep asked the fans to support the team. That was one of the best, if not the best atmospheres in the 1st half I've heard at the Etihad. Then the players amble out and switch off at the start of the 2nd half. What more could we have done? It just shows, even if you support the team, it still doesn't guarantee a win.
