What a great day. Have to admit I was a little nervous before KO purely based on how they manage to raise their game against us. But in reality it wasn't really a contest. Our derby is really against Liverpool these days, they put up a decent fight are proper rivals and attempt to play the game as it should be. De ja vue ?

Our derby is not and never will be Liverpool. Liverpool are an irritant, their fans are annoying, but the Rags and their little Sister club are untouchable for the hate I have for them and that’ll never change, even if the Rags went on decades’ decline and were insignificant to us in the table.

Plus the Scousers don’t attempt to play the game as it should be, they just run around all game at 100mph running into the opposition fouling them all game and getting away with it.

The first time in my lifetime I have felt few nerves during a derby. A sprinkling at 2-1 but my god that was comfortable. Pep has given the stereotype about our league being the hardest a mighty kick into the long grass.

We destroyed them. It wasn't even close. Pep has raised the bar. The passing between Sane, Sterling and Foden at the end was beautifully humiliating. Sterling needs to let Pep know the fans loved him taking the piss with the stepovers!!! Fuck showing any respect to them. The goading we used to get in the away end at the swamp. Gary Neville off the bench used to be the worst. Now he gets paid to tell the world how good we are and how shit the rags are!
