I've got a horrible feeling this is a draw. Unless Pellegrini finally elects to play Kelechi, from the off this time, up front with Sergio. Sergio's looked very lonely recently. Also, anything, literally anything, at the back rather than MDM coupled with Mangala. Is Otamendi fit again, by the way?

I hope Pellegrini will go with the same team that won in the Wembley and in Kyiv.

Navas was decent in recent weeks, but Fernandinho was superb in that right midfield role for both games, and he went a bit off when he went back to the middle. Martial is their only real threat nowadays, so by doubling him with Sagna and Fernandinho we should minimize his effort. Or it might force him to move to the other wing where he's not that efffective, or to the middle.

I would have been totally confident that we can still nick a win somehow weren't it for Kompany's injury. But the partnership of Mangala and Otamendi gaves me a headache. Hope we will press them high and attack unti we just fuckin score the first as early as possible.

As shit as they are, I'm surprised to see the 'we should batter them by x amount of goals comments, especially as rank as we have been of late. Maybe its just derby day bluster. Maybe we will fucking batter them, but I wouldnt bet my house on it like I would have a couple of years ago. The regression makes me sad.

I will enjoy going to probably the first derby in my lifetime, feeling pretty indifferent, certainly without the usual stomach-churning nerves.

That's what this season and our sub-standard performances have done for me.

It's also a sad indication of how much higher we have previously set the bar, that it's nothing more than bragging rights over an equally disjointed bunch.

I'm sure I will get a reminder at some point but I just want this season to end.

United will cause plenty of problems with their direct pace through Martial and Rashford. I expect them to sit and counter, although I wish those roles were reversed.

As always, first goal will probably decide it.
